    network and Internet connection.

    1. Mount a 6ELP-50 or 6MLP-50 low pass filter to the FTG rack.
    2. Connect a coaxial cable from the RF OUT connector on the FMA-101 to the low pass filter.
    3. Terminate the RF IN port on the FMA-101.
    4. Connect a coaxial cable from the low pass filter to an input port on the FTG rack combiner.

    TROUBLESHOOT THE FMA-101

The following table contains general FTG Basic issues and solutions related to the FMA-101
    and the FTG Basic platform.

    FMA-101 Troubleshooting
    Issue Solution(s)
    The OSD/Call
    letters do not
    display in the
guest room(s).  If the issue affects all rooms:
o Verify the FMA-101 is properly configured.
o Verify the FMA-101 is balanced flat with the rest of the FTG Basic
    platform.
 If the issue is restricted to a single room:
o Wait for the FMA-101 to re-broadcast the channel lineup and re-
test. Note: The amount of time it takes to re-broadcast the channel
lineup is determined by the rate setting that was entered during the
    date and time configuration.
o Check the coaxial connections and signal levels in the room.
    o Replace the terminal.
    The date/time is
incorrect.  Reconfigure the Date and Time Configuration in the FMA-101 software
    interface.

    the channel lineup.

    1. Connect an Ethernet (crossover) cable between the laptop/tablet’s Ethernet port and the
FMA-101’s Ethernet port. Tip: The laptop/tablet’s network settings must be on the same
    subnet as the FMA-101.
    2. Launch the laptop/tablet web browser.
