    To use as a camera for Skype
    It is possible to perform video conferencing using Skype when this unit is 
    connected to a PC that is connected to the Internet.Skype is a software that allows you to perform video conferencing 
    using an Internet connection.
    ≥ Skype must first be installed before use.

    For downloading or details regarding Skype, refer to the Skype Website.≥ For information on how to use Skype, refer to the Skype help file.
    ≥ Depending on the PC or Internet environment used, you may not be 
    able to use Skype, images may be disrupted, cut off, the resolution 
    may be low or the audio may be cut off.
    ≥ A higher performance CPU is recommended for high-quality video 
    conferencing.

    1Connect USB terminal of this unit to a PC with a USB 
    extension cord.
    ≥Connect the USB extension cord by inserting it securely all the 
    way without forcing.
    A USB extension cord (supplied)
    ≥ Do not use any other USB extension cords except the supplied one. 
    (Operation is not guaranteed with any other USB extension cords.)
    ≥ Insert the USB extension cord securely all the way. (Insert to line B.) It 
    will not operate properly if it is not inserted all the way.
    2Touch [WEB CAMERA] on the screen of this unit.
    3(On a PC)
    Start Skype.≥Check this unit is selected with the Skype settings.
    ≥ The image quality will automatically vary among 640 k480, 320k 240 
    and 160k 120 depending on the Internet environment.
    ≥ When disconnecting the USB terminal of the unit from your PC, shut 
    down Skype before disconnecting.
    ≥Operation is not guaranteed for all devices equipped with a USB 
    terminal.

    This card is not compatible or it cannot be recognized by the unit.
    If this message appears even though motion pictures, still pictures 
    and voices are recorded on an SD card, the card may be unstable. 
    Reinsert the SD card, then turn the unit off and then on again.

    This unit cannot be 
    turned on.
    This unit does not 
    stay on long enough.
    Battery runs down 
    quickly. ≥
    Charge the battery again to ensure it 
    is sufficiently charged. ( l22)
    ≥ In cold places, the battery life 
    becomes shorter.
    ≥ The battery has a limited life. If the 
    operating time is still too short even 
    after the battery is fully charged, the 
    battery has worn out and needs to be 
    replaced. Contact Panasonic’s 
    Service Center.
    This unit cannot be 
    operated though it is 
    turned on.
    This unit does not

    Press the RESET button with the

    ≥ The recordable time may have 
    shortened due to the deterioration of 
    the data writing speed or repeated 
    recording and deletion. Using the 
    unit, format the SD card. ( l57)
    Scenes, still pictures 
    or voices cannot be 
    played back. ≥
    Any scenes, still pictures or voices 
    where the thumbnails are displayed 
    as   cannot be played back.
    Although this unit is 
    correctly connected 
    to a TV, images 
    cannot be seen. ≥
    Please read the operating 
    instructions of your TV and select the 
    channel that matches the input used 
    for the connection.
    ≥ Check the setting of [HDMI 
    resolution]. ( l56)
    Scenes, still pictures 
    or voices cannot be 
    deleted. ≥
    Any scenes, still pictures or voices 
    where the thumbnails are displayed 
    as   cannot be deleted. If the 
    scenes, still pictures or voices are 
    unnecessary, format the SD card to 
    erase the data. ( l57) Please be 
    aware that if an SD card is formatted 
    then all the data recorded on the SD 
    card is erased and cannot be 
    recovered. Back up important data on 
    a PC etc.
    If the SD card is 
    inserted in this unit,

    may not be recognized by this unit.

    instructions of the device for details.
    Color or brightness

    see horizontal bars 
    in the image.

    change, or you may see horizontal 
    bars in the image when the object is 
    recorded under fluorescent light,

    PC.
    ≥ Check the operating environment.

    Cannot see the PDF
