    Returning the unit to the factory default state (INITIALIZE)
    You can restore the settings stored on the unit to the factory defaults 
    (INITIALIZE)
    When executing INITIALIZE, select one of “ALL” or “SETUP” .
    ALL :Restores all settings to the factory default state (executes 
    INITIALIZE)

    SETUP :Restores only some settings to the factory default state 
    (executes INITIALIZE)

    Setup Software
    Setup Software is an application for configuring the settings for connecting the unit with the remote cameras and switcher from a personal computer . 
    The settings can be configured while confirming each item in a list  .
    zzThe settings for connecting the unit with the remote cameras 
    
    and switcher can also be configured using just the unit  .  For how to configure the settings 
    on the unit, refer to “Settings for connecting with the remote cameras and switcher” in  (page
      29)  .
    When using Setup Software to configure the settings from a personal computer, observe the following
    
     .
    zzDo not perform any operation on the unit
    
     .
    zzDo not start Setup Software on any other computer in the same network
    
     .
    zzDo not use “Easy IP
    
     Setup Software” supplied with AW‑HE120, AW‑HE60, and AW‑HE50  .
    Notes
    Installing the software
    This section describes how to install Setup Software .

    Insert the CD‑ROM supplied with the unit into the CD‑ROM drive of the personal computer on which the application is going to be installed
      .

    Copy the entire folder containing “Setup Software” on the CD‑ROM to the hard disk drive of the personal computer .

    Configuring the settings of the personal computer
    Configure the following settings of the personal computer before connecting it to the unit .

     address :Set an IP address that is not a duplicate of the IP address set on the unit or any IP address set on the devices (remote 
    cameras, switcher, etc

    Subnet mask:Set the same subnet mask as that set on the unit

    Default gateway :Set the same default gateway as that set on the unit

    Registering the unit in Setup Software
    On the “IP Address” tab, register the IP addresses of units to be set from Setup Software .The units registered here can be selected from the list box on the “Setting” tab  .
    Up to five units can be registered
    
     .
    1 . Enter the IP addresses in the IP ADDRESS boxes .In the RP1 to RP5 boxes, enter the IP addresses of the AW‑RP120 
    to register .
    2 . Click [Set] button .
    3 . In the list box on the “Setting” tab, select the AW‑RP120 
    whose data is to be referenced .
    The settings configured on the selected unit are displayed on the 
    “Setting” tab

    Displaying the “Setting” tab
    On the “Setting” tab, configure the settings for the connections between the unit and the remote cameras and switcher .When you connect the personal computer to the unit for the first time, click the [REFRESH] button to acquire the values set on the unit .
    Each of the “C001” to “C100” and “SW” lines displays a list of the corresponding camera number and switcher connection setting information

    Setting user authentication
    To control remote cameras that have the user authentication function enabled, you need to set the user name and password on the AW‑RP120 .Configure this setting on the “User Auth  . ” tab of this application  .
    zzThe user authentication function is only enabled when the unit is controlling remote cameras connected with IP  connections

    1 . Click the [REFRESH] button .The user name set on the unit is displayed in the “Old User Name” box .
     z “admin” is set by default
     .
    2 . In the “New User Name” box, enter the new user name to set .
    3 . In the “Old Password” box, enter the password set on the unit .Entered characters are displayed as “” .
     z “12345” is set by default
     .
    4 . In the “New Password” box, enter the new password to set .Entered characters are displayed as “” .
    5 . In the “Retype New Password” box, enter the same password as you entered in step 4 .Entered characters are displayed as “” .
    6 . Click the [SET] button .The user name and password are set on the unit .When remote cameras with the user authentication function enabled are controlled, the user name and password 
    that were set here are used
     .
    zzEven if you have forgotten the new password you set by performing the procedure above, you can still configure 
    the settings again by entering “admin” in the “Old User Name” box and “12345” in the “Old Password” box and 
    then entering a new user name and password in the other boxes
