USAGE PRECAUTIONS
    Before using the Rice Cooker for the first time, remove the Scoop and Measuring Cup from the Pan and the packing paper kept between the Pan and the Heater. 
    Make sure the Pan is sitting properly in the Body. Keep the outside of the Pan and the Heater clean and dry.  If  the  Pan  is  not  positioned  correctly  or  has  any  foreign  matter  between  the  Pan  surface  and  the Heater, the Switch may pop up before cooking is complete and the heater may be damaged. Measure rice with the provided Measuring Cup. One cup of uncooked rice 
makes  approximately  2  cups  of  cooked  rice.  Rice  should  be  leveled  with 
the  brim  of  the  Measuring  Cup  as  shown  in  figure.  Wash  rice  in  another 
bowl until water becomes relatively clear.
  Put washed rice in the Pan. Refer to the markings on the Pan.
e.g. To cook 6 cups of rice, put the rice into the Pan and then add water to the LEVEL INDICATOR 6.

The 2 Dish Separator is a shallow pan, which can be placed on the Pan enabling you to cook 2 dishes 
at the same time. The figures above show you how to set the 2 Dish Separator.
COOKING
Vegetables,  quick  cooking  pulses,  sprouts,  fish,  marinated  chicken  etc.,  can  be  cooked  in  the  2  Dish 
Separator while cooking 2 to 5 cups of rice in the Pan.
STEAMING
You can use the 2 Dish Separator for steaming vegetables and other steam cooking dishes. To use as 
a steamer, pour 1 or 2 cups of water...

HOW TO STEAM FOODS
Add water to the Pan and put the Pan into the Body.
Place the Steaming Basket on the Pan. Add food in the Steaming 
Basket. (Place it on a dish if required).
Cover the Rice Cooker with the Lid.
Plug in and press the Switch. 
The orange “Cooking” indicator shows you steaming has started.
Time the cooking manually.
* The Rice Cooker will automatically switch to “Keep Warm”, when water has evaporated.
