DEFENDED, ~lp, J~ 7~ , , c1q 6 L INTRODUCTION PAGES FITTING INSTRUCTION FOR INTERMEDIATE SEAT BELT MOUNTINGS LOWER - LR110 1 .0 Jack up roar ofvdnicle, support on stands, remove roadwheels . 2 .0 Fold intermediate seats forward (or remove) andremove rear load space mat or carpet . 3 .0 Duffer Lower Mounting : Remove existing boo (A),floorto bodyframe and ensure a full 5/16 ciearonca . 3 .1 Fit bracket (347844) under wheelarch and temporally secure at lower end using boll (SH605081L) and nut (SH605041L) . Ensure that the slots in the bracket are located over the outer pairof pop rivets . 3 .2 Drill upper fixing hole 5/16from under whsiarchand fit bDR (255227) to locate bracket . 3 .3 Mark position of lower seat bell fixing point on the underside of the whsNarch . Remove bracket and drill seat beltfixingwith 1/4 pilot hole and then openup to 5/8 . 3 .4 Refit bracketusing but (SH605081L) 1 off at lower fixing and boll (255227) 1 off atthe upper fixing . Serve using plain washer (3830, spring washer (WM600051L) and nut (hR160504 4.0 Floor Mounting . Locate step in wheelbox and draw a vertical line down tofloor . Find mid point between rivets in floor and draw a line mass the floor . 4 .1 Measure 6 .1/2 and 10 .1/4 from eitherside of wheelarch andmark position . Drill 1/4 pDol holes through floe and crossmembe . 4 .2 On outer holes openup to 5/8 through floe skin only, open ilot holes to 5/16 in crossmember . On inner holes open up to 57 through floor and crossmembe . 4.3 In outerholes fit spaces, screws, washers and nuts and tighten . Place anchor point tube in inner holes, drill holes 3/16 for rivets and rivet to floor . 4 .4 From under vehicle fit saws, washer and tobwoshers . Tighten screw andbend tabwashe acre screws and crossrnembe . 5 .0 Replace rear mat or cope) and replace sees . 6.0 Replace roadwheels and remove vehicle from stands .

Measure 1 .5/8 from bodyside and drill 1/4 pilot hole . 5 .1 Centre Stiffens (C) From slap in wheelarch box measure 23 .1/8 and 24-5/16, drawa line from wheelarch inmr edge to bodyside . Measure 1 .5/8 from bodyside and drill 1/4 pilaf holes . 5 .2 Raw Stiffener (D) From stop in wheslarch box measure 43 .1/8 drawa tine from whalarch inner edge to bodyside . Measure 4 .5/8 from bodyisde and drill 1/4 pilot hole . 5 .3 Open up pilot holes to 5/8and deburr . 5 .0 Front and Cenhe Stiffens . From under vehicle position stiffeners to wheelarch box, locals angle bracket and use 7/16 UNF bolt and washer to position stiffeners, fghten bolt, drill 3/16 holes for rivets ref I, deburr , and rhel, drill hula 17/64 far monobaBs Ref A, debwr and rival up . 6 .1 Row Stiffener . From under wheelarrh at rearof vehicle remove rubber protector far rear tomy wiring, him 1/4 to 1/2from top of Protector to allowstiffens to fit body . Remove excess easier as required and refd rubber protector . Positron stiffens to wheelarch bas, use7/16 UNF bolt and washer to position stiffener, drill 3/16 hobs far rivets, deburr and rival, drill holes 17/64 farmonobolls debwr and rivet up . 7 .0 Remove 7/16 bobs and repeat operations for opposite whalarch . 8 .0 Refd fight covers and re-position fool retaining shop to forward edge of centre andk bracket . Fd sealbeffs withlong end of bellin centre filings and tighten . 9 .0 Refit seats - Road wheels and remove vehicle from stands . 4 5/8
