sales receipt showing theproduct nameandthepurchase date
from anauthorized retailerisconsidered suchproof.
WHAT ISCOVERED:
The Philips warranty coversnewproducts ifadefect inmaterial
or workmanship occursandavalid claim isreceived byPhilips
within theWarranty Period.Atitsoption, Philipswilleither (1)
repair theproduct atno charge, usingneworrefurbished
replacement parts,or(2) exchange theproduct withaproduct
that isnew orwhich hasbeen manufactured fromnew,orser-
viceable usedparts andisat least functionally equivalentormost
comparable tothe original product inPhilips current inventory,
or (3) refund theoriginal purchase priceofthe product.
Philips warrants replacement productsorparts provided under
this warranty againstdefects inmaterials andworkmanship from
the date ofthe replacement orrepair forninety (90)days orfor
the remaining portionofthe
original product’s warranty,
whichever provideslongercoverage foryou. When aproduct or
part isexchanged, anyreplacement itembecomes yourproperty
and thereplaced itembecomes Philips’property. Whenarefund

Note: Any product sold and identified as refurbished or
renewed carries a ninety (90) day limited warranty.
Replacement product can only be sent if all warranty
requirements are met. Failure to follow all requirements

this warranty. Recoveryorreinstallation ofprograms, dataor

Hearing safety
Listen at a moderate volume.• Using headphones at a high volume can impair your hearing. This product can produce sounds in decibel ranges that may cause hearing loss for a normal person, even for exposure less than a minute. The higher decibel ranges are offered for those that may have already experienced some hearing loss.• Sound can be deceiving. Over time your hearing ‘comfor t level’ adapts to higher volumes of sound. So af ter prolonged listening, what sounds ‘normal’ can actually be loud and harmful to your hearing. To guard against this, set your volume to a safe level before your hearing adapts and leave it there.
To establish a safe volume level:• Set your volume control at a low set ting. • Slowly increase the sound until you can hear it comfor tably and clearly, without distor tion.
