    \fLP technolo\by
    – chosen for reliab\uility
    The DLP technology \ffrom Texas Instruments\b i\fs
chosen for its unma\ftched reliability, and its unique
coupling with long\f lasting image qua\flity. With a widely
recognised and proven reliability record, and high
    brightness and con\ftrast, all whilst \fdisplaying utterly\f
natural colours, i\ft is the obvious c\fhoice for heavy dut\fy
applications that \fare that run continu\fously, or are
mission critical. I\fndependent testing\f has proven DLP
    technology to be t\fhe most reliable of all micr\fodisplays;
not degrading when\f subjected to UV l\fight, inherent in
all projectors. Unlike co\fmpeting technologi\fes, showing
severe image quality de\fgradation after onl\fy a few
thousand hours, DLP\f technology remains constant
over hundreds of thousands of\f hours.
    overview
    3-chip \fLP®
3\fchip DLP technolog\fy is renowned for producing
formidable on\fscreen images, as it \fuses three DMD\b
(Digital Micromirrod Device) imagers\f for strongly saturated
and accurate colou\frs. With lots of brightn\fess from
the 3\fchip engine’s high efficiency, and many options\f
for adjusting colou\fr and brightness p\ferformance, the
    F82 series can be \ftailored to suit a a vas\ft number of
applications, focus\fing on large screen video centric \f
    displays and event\fs.
    WUXGA or 1080p reso\ulution
The projectiondesign F82\f can be configured with either
WUXGA or 1080p resolution for compu\fter or video
centric applicatio\fns. In large audito\friums and with lar\fge
screens, where computer imaging\f with maximum leve\fl
    of detail is a prim\fary requirement, 1920x1200 p\fixels
(WUXGA) is the obv\fious choice, and fu\flly compatible wit\fh
the legacy 1600x12\f00 format. Furthermo\fre, for video
    centric applicatio\fns, the 1920x1080 \f(Full HD 1080p)
pixel resolution perfectly\f fits high defintion\f video and
data. For editing a\fnd video centric a\fpplications where a
menu line, or addi\ftional information \fis needed on screen
    simultaneously wit\fh the unaltered 1080p video ima\fge,
    WUXGA resolution gives ju\fst that.

    Precision projectio\un lenses
    The F82 series feat\fures a wide range of \fcustom designed, p\frecision
projection lenses for\f the best image qu\fality, and the most reliable setups.
Key features include infinite\fly adjustable IRIS\f and aperture settings,
and motorized zoom\f, focus and lens sh\fift with profile memories for
use in multiple se\fttings and install\fations with programmed calibrati\fon
and screen configurations. \fMost importantly, every single len\fs uses
Low Dispersion (LD)\f glass and aspheri\fcal lens elements \ffor high quality
focusing and sharpn\fess, as well as hi\fgh optical interfie\fld contrast,
resulting in very h\figh image quality. Unlike many compe\fting projector
ranges, the lenses\f are designed and mad\fe with high resolution in mind,\f
not taking standar\fd, off the shelf lenses \ffor use in higher p\ferformance
applications. The r\fange of lenses span\f from an an ultra wid\fe angle
    0.74 : 1, to a long\f tele zoom at 6.24 \f: 1, and comprises\f five options.
    A wide range of len\sses, from ul\bra wide \s0.74 : 1 \bo 6.24 : \s1 gives unique flexi\sbili\by in ins\balla\bions and pl\sacemen\b of produc\b.

    							RealColor™ colour c\ualibration
Each F82 projector is uniquel\fy characterised an\fd calibrated durin\fg manufacture. Unique optical p\ferformance values a\fre
recorded and matched to\f the electronic image processing to secure perfect on\fsite c\falibration. With RealColor, it is possible
to match any numbe\fr of projectors, and ensu\fre they all project the same pri\fmaries and grey scale, without \fgoing through a
very complicated p\frocess. Using our ProNet 2.0 software automates this p\frocess.
    What RealColor \bive\us
RealColor provides a unique an\fd quick way to cal\fibrate and set up \fperfect images for \fany number of projectors. RealColor\f
can alter imagery \fby changing simple\f characteristics s\fuch as the colour \ftemperature of the image – pe\frfectly along the
black body curve, \for very complex de\ftails such as each\f colour’s relative saturation\f and x,y coordiantes. RealColor \fworks by
mathematically cal\fculating each colo\fur independently, in fact, it is pe\frfect to within 0.00\f2 along all axes o\ff measurement.
    Advanced Color Opt\uical Processin\b
The F82 series projectors feature new and revolutionary projectiondesign
optical color processing technolog\fy. By combining fixed\f and motorised opt\fical
filters for each col\four channel, red, green, and blue, the\f projector can be
optically calibrat\fed with near infini\fte accuracy. It also means tha\ft by the flick of
a switch, you can \fchange the projected colour gam\fut from standard computer
graphics optimised\f, to comply with fo\fr instance REC709 \f(High Definition
programming) All thi\fs without any loss\f of bit depth, as t\fhe compensation is\f
purely optical, and n\fot electronic. Unlike compet\fing projectors, where colour
calibration is bas\fed upon a simple y\fellow notch filter \fto change the green point
of the picture, or simply by ch\fanging electronic values, ACOP g\fives vastly
superior performanc\fe on all important\f levels.

    Colour matchin\b
Like all other projectiondesign professional projectors, the F82 \fseries features numerous possibilities \fand alternatives for matchin\fg of several projectors, so that \fthey all appear
and perform similar\fly. Actual colour mat\fching is realised through several process steps, inclu\fding that of hand s\felecting units tha\ft are optically simila\fr. Additionally, colour matching \f
is realised using exte\fnsive features of the RealColor\f colour management\f suite, so that ev\fery single projector performs ab\fsolutely similarly\f. ProNet 2.0 calibratio\fn software suite
    automates this process.

    \fynamicBlack™ for o\uutstandin\b dynamics\u
The F82 series feat\fures unmatched imagi\fng dynamics amongs\ft large venue
projectors. The uniqu\fe DynamicBlack func\ftionality automati\fcally adapts to
the input histogra\fm of the image, and\f adjusts so that i\fmage output contra\fst
is maximised at an\fy one point in tim\fe. This creates much more dynamic
    imaging, and a mor\fe involving experi\fence. If DynamicBlac\fk functionality
is not desired, the user can m\fanually adjust IRI\fS and settings to \fmatch
    a constant, desired output level, w\fith constrast up t\fo 15 000 : 1, and \f
brightness levels \fto match that of th\fe desired screen size requirement.

    							Original lamp wi\bh p\srojec\biondesign op\bi\smised fix\bure mechan\sics.
    Low Total Cost of Owner\uship
Thanks to its comp\flex and robust build and
construction, the \fF82 series requires very little
maintenance and in\f\flife maintenance. T\fhere are no
user serviceable p\farts, and it does \fnot have any
filters or other pa\frts that need peri\fodical replacement.
That means it does\f not require a costly and hig\fh
frequency maintenanc\fe contract. At the \fsame time,
and compared to similarly pe\frforming xenon high\f
power lamps, lamp \freplacement cost is\f low*, and
typical lamp life i\fs long. In total, a\f very cost effective
projector over time,\f resulting in low, and predictable,
    cost of ownership.
    *  When replacing lamps, it is advised t\f use \fnly \friginal parts and access\fries, as n\fn \friginal aftermar\bet lamps may reduce perf\frmance, damage the pr\fject\fr, and v\fid warranties.
    Low Frequency Maint\uenace pro\bramme
Our Low Frequency Maintenanc\fe programme can be set\f to automatically \fnotify of required services and ma\fintenace.
When run continuou\fsly, moving parts suc\fh as fans and colou\fr wheels require periodic replacement in order to secure
and enable heavy d\futy, and uninterrupte\fd operation. With the F82, the s\fhortest duty cycle\f of any one compone\fnt – run in
    full power mode, is\f as long as 8000 h\fours, meaning a ful\fl year’s operation in 24/\f7 without maintena\fnce. Add to that ho\ft
swappable lamps, a\fnd you have a projector that simpl\fy does not need to\f be turned off, running either i\fn automatic lamp
relay mode, or even\f with two lamps at\f any power setting\f around the clock.
    \fesi\bned for full 24\u/7 operation
All projectiondesign professional projectors feature full
24/7 operation war\franties. That means\f they are designed
to operate continu\fously. There is no fine print. \fDesigning
for 24/7 operation \frequires a lot of attenti\fon to detail.
Some technologies \fare better than othe\frs when it comes
to withstand the a\fbuse of time. We use only compone\fnts
that have predictable behaviou\frs, for instance fa\fns,
colour wheel motor\fs, and electronic components th\fat
are designed by thei\fr respective manufactu\frers to do
the same \f withstan\fd time. There are no off\fthe\fshelf
components. That is\f why we also close\fly monitor
the creation of every det\fail, apply dedicat\fed thermal
management, and us\fe specific material\fs in all parts of t\fhe
    process.
