    GETTING UP AND RUNNING
    Install the battery pack
    1 Open the battery slot cover, and insert the battery pack.
    hThe battery slot cover is located on the bottom of the camera.
    2 Use the supplied AC adaptor to charge the battery pack.
    hCharging will take approximately 90 minutes.

    kStill image photography
    1 Press the ON/OFF button to turn the 
    camera on.
    hThe Still Image Shooting Screen 
    appears.
    2 Press the shutter button.
    hThe image is captured.
    kVideo clip recording
    1 Press the ON/OFF button to turn the 
    camera on.
    2 Press the MENU button, and toggle 
    the SET button to the right.
    hThe camera changes to the video 
    clip recording mode.
    3 Press the MENU button.
    4 Press the shutter button.
    hRecording begins.
    hTo stop recording, press the shutter 
    button again.
    hPress the MENU button, toggle the 
    SET button to the left, and press 
    the MENU button. The camera 
    changes to the still image shooting 
    mode.

    Playback
    kStill image playback
    1 Press the playback button [H].
    hThe display switches to the 
    Playback Screen.
    hTo view other images, toggle the 
    SET button to the left or right.
    hIf the playback button [H] is 
    pressed, the display returns to the 
    Shooting Screen.
    kVideo clip playback
    1 Press the playback button [H].
    hThe display switches to the 
    Playback Screen.
    hToggle the SET button to the left 
    or right to display the video clip 
    you wish to play back.
    hVideo clips are indicated by a 
    video clip pattern along the top 
    and bottom of the screen.
    2 Press the SET button.
    hPlayback of the selected video 
    clip begins.
    hIf the playback button [H] is 
    pressed again, the display 
    changes to the Shooting Screen.
    When you are finished taking pictures...
    Press the ON/OFF button to turn the camera off.
