    							3D READY DLP® PROJECTORS
    Improve Test Scores.Teach in 3D.

    							Test Scores improved
    an average of 32% after
    seeing a lesson in 3D!
    How does 3D DLP
    technology work?
    DLP technology uses millions of
    microscopic mirrors that re ect
light to create a stunning picture for
the best projectors on the market.
This imaging technology is so fast,
it can actually project TWO images
on the screen at the same time:
One for the left eye and one for
the right eye. Then 3D glasses
combine the two images to create
    an amazing 3D effect!
    DLP 3D technology is available
from a wide variety of projector
    manufacturers. Learn more about

    The remarkable DLP® chip

The innovators who captured the imagination
of movie-goers in the theatre with 3D technology
are now bringing the same attention grabbing
technology to students in the classroom.
Welcome to the new age of 3D classroom
projectors powered by DLP technology from
    Texas Instruments.
With 3D, lessons come to life
    in a whole new way.
Literally add a whole new dimension of
excitement and accessibility to subjects like
geography and history by allowing students to
feel like they are there. It’s an unprecedented
    educational opportunity.
In the immersive teaching environment provided
by 3D DLP projection, students experience clear
and complete visualization of dif cult concepts
and subject matter. And the excitement level is
    off the charts!
    Research Proves 3D Improves
    Test Scores!
A recent government funded study on the
effect of the use of 3D in the classroom
produced remarkable results. The study done
in Rock Island, Illinois showed that students’
pre-test vs. post test scores improved up to
35% after seeing a lesson in 3D compared to
the mere 9.7% increase experienced by the
control group who did not view the 3D lesson.
Furthermore, when the data was broken down
    by subgroups including socioeconomic status,
ethnicity, male/female and math ISAT scores,
all groups showed gains from 29% to 35%.
And 3D presentations of math concepts
increased scores for females slightly more
than males – helping to close the traditional
gender gap in math. As one student in the
study remarked, “If I could learn everything this
way, my grades would go from Fs to A+s.”
Get ready for the 3D revolution
    in Education

    							A DLP projector is like
    2 projectors in 1!
A 3D ready DLP protector typically costs no
more than a standard 2D projector. A DLP
projector is like 2 projectors in 1! Unlike other
3D technologies, you only need one projector
    to create vivid 3D imagery.
3D ready projectors with DLP technology function
normally as a regular 2D projector, and when you
play 3D content, it can switch from 2D to 3D and
back again. They are incredibly easy to use and
available from a wide variety of manufacturers.
So, how do I get started
    with DLP 3D?
The 3D-ready DLP projector is the starting point.
Even if you don’t implement a 3D curriculum
right away, it is important that your projector
is ready for 3D when you are. When you want
to create that 3D experience, you will need a
    few other components including:
    • PC with a quad buffered graphics card
    • “Active” 3D glasses with DLP Link™
    • 3D content
    What is
    DLP LinkTM?
    DLP Link is the amazing
    technology that allows the
DLP 3D projector to seamlessly share data
with the active glasses. This data sharing
enables the projector to send 3D information
to the glasses in between each frame of
video to create the effect. The result is the
most astonishing and immersive 3D viewing
    experience possible.
