    ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTYSI PRODUCTS sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and workmanship for the life of the original purchaser from the date of original purchase, except as noted below. SI PRODUCTS warrants that its products will be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to Retailers.     Media Projector - Operation Instructions
    1) Set up and Installation 
    Carefully remove the projector from the box. Make sure you have removed \
    all the 
    parts in the package. Be sure to read the instruction manual thoroughly \
    before 
    getting started with the projector set-up.
     • Position the projector on a flat surface up to 6ft. (72”) from the surface on
        which you want to project.
     • The projector can be projected onto a screen, a light-colored wall or ceiling
        using the provided stand.
     • Plug the projector into an electric outlet and check to be sure plug is inserted
        correctly. CAUTION: Loose connecting plugs may cause ELECTRIC SHOCK.
     • Connect the projector to the source using the supplied cables. (red and
        white for audio; yellow for video).
          NOTE: For better sound quality, connect the audio cables (red and white) 
         to an external sound system.
     • Once projector is powered on, the fan and the lamp will run. An introductory
        screen will appear on the viewing surface.
    WARNING: Do not place the projector on a carpeted or upholstered surface to avoid fire.
    2) Operation
    CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance is equipped with 
    a polarized plug (one blade wider than the other). This pug will fit in a polarized 
    outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it 
    still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not 
    change the plug in any way.
     • Plug projector into main outlet.
     • Press the “POWER” button located on top of the projector to turn on.
     • Adjust the stand to make sure the image is projected evenly onto the viewing surface.
     • Adjust the focus by turning the lens bezel housing clockwise or 
        counter-clockwise until you have a sharp viewing image.
     • Adjust contrast with the contrast control button located on top of projector.
     • Adjust color saturation with the color control button located on top of the projector.
     • You can now enjoy your favorite DVD or video games.
     • Control the volume with the volume control button located on top of the projector.  
     • You may also use remote to control volume, contrast and color.
    WARNING – Switch off the main power button of the unit when not in use\

    3) Maintenance
     • To clean the lens, first blow away dust particles with clean and dry air to avoid 
        scratching the lens surface.
     • Do not use any type of fluid or cleaner on the lens surface as they might 
        damage the lens coating.
     • To replace the light bulb, follow all the steps completely below:
          – Turn off the projector, DO NOT unplug, and allow it to cool for 
            30 minutes; red light will be blinking and fan will be running during th\
    is
           time as it runs at an extremely high temperature! WARNING – RISK OF 
           DAMAGE.  DO NOT UNPLUG WHILE THE RED LIGHT IS BLINKING AND THE FAN 
           IS RUNNING.
         – Remove the screws and then remove the back cover of the projector t\
    o 
            access the light bulb.
         – Make sure the bulb has cooled down. With a dry cloth, remove the 
            existing bulb.
         – Put in the new bulb, using a clean dry cloth. DO NOT touch new bulb 
            with fingers as oil from your hands may damage bulb. Make sure it is well 
           connected to the socket. 
         – Use a standard 60Watt, 12V, MR-16 halogen light bulb.
         – Make sure bulb is securely screwed in otherwise the projector will \
    not 
            turn on or may cause electronic shock.
    To Clean 
    Unplug the projector and allow it to cool before cleaning. Spot clean only with a soft 
    dry cloth. Never allow water or any other liquids to come into contact with the unit.
    Do not immerse in any liquid to clean
    Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass/furnitur\
    e polish 
    or paint thinner to clean.
    Do not attempt to repair the Projector. There are no user serviceable parts. For ser-
    vice, send the projector to the Sharper Image address listed in the warranty section.
    To Store
    Place the projector in its box or in a safe, dry, cool place. To avoid breakage, do not 
    wrap the power cord around the unit. Do not hang the projector by the power cord.

    Note:  This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a 
    Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are de-
    signed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential 
    installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy 
    and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause 
    harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that 
    interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause 
    harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by 
    turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the inter-
    ference by one or more of the following measures:
     • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna
     • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver
     • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which 
        the receiver is connected
     • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help
    4) Trouble Shooting
      If there are no images or sound –
        • Double check that the power and source connections are secured.
       • Make sure the projector is turned on and volume is turned up.
       • Try unplugging the power for 30 seconds, then reconnect and restart the
          projector again.
       • If there is still no image, check and replace the light bulb. (See maintenance)
       
     If the image is not sharp –
        • Adjust the manual lens focus. Do this with a still projected image.
       • Make sure the projection distance and size and correct.
       • Double check that the incoming signal from connector is good.
       • Go to the set-up mode to adjust contrast and color if needed.
       • Check and clean the lens if needed.
     If the image is not in the correct shape (Rectangular) –
        • Check that the video source is plugged in correctly.
       • Make sure the projector is perpendicularly projecting to the wall or screen.
       • Make sure the projector is placed on a rigid & flat surface, not a soft and (or)
          sloped surface
