Attaching/removing the lens
Set the power switch of the camera to OFF before you attach or remove the 
lens.
 When attaching a lens, do not press the lens release button.

xRemoving the lens
 If dust or debris gets inside the camera while you are changing the lens and 
adheres to the surface of the image sensor (the part that converts the light source to 
a digital signal), it may appear as dark spots on the image, depending on the 
shooting environment. The camera vibrates slightly when it is turned off, due to 
the anti-dust function, to prevent dust from adhering to the image sensor.

xMemory cards that you can use
You can use following types of memory cards with this camera. However, 
proper operation cannot be guaranteed for all types of the memory cards.
You cannot use MultiMediaCard.
 Images recorded on an SDXC memory card cannot be imported to or played on 
computers or AV devices that are not compatible with exFAT. Make sure that the 
device is compatible with exFAT before connecting it to the camera. If you

Adjusting the viewfinder (diopter

Adjust the viewfinder so that you can see the screen displays clearly.
Attaching/removing the eyepiece cup
It is recommended that you attach the eyepiece cup when you intend to use the 
viewfinder.

Setting the date and time
When you turn on the camera for the first time, the screen to set date and time 
appears.
1Set the power switch to ON to

In the   (Intelligent Auto) mode, the camera analyzes the subject, and 
allows you to shoot with appropriate settings.
