    							Self-timerUse the Self-timer to get more time to prepare for a photo. It also helps to keep
    your device steady and avoid blurred photos.
    To use the self-timer with the main camera
    1 When using the main camera, select a photo capturing mode and tap 
    .
    2 Tap  Self-timer  and select the delay time.
    3 Close the settings menu. The Self-timer setting is saved.
    4 Press the camera key or tap the shutter button to take a photo. A series of
    beeps marks the countdown until the photo is taken.

    1 When using the camera, tap the thumbnail to open a photo or video.
    2 Flick left or right to view your photos and videos.
    3 Tap the screen to edit a photo or video.Your photos and videos are stored in the Album application. See Viewing photos and

     on page 94 for more options.
    Exposure, color, and light conditions
    Good exposure for your photos requires the right amount of light. The cameraautomatically detects and adjusts to ambient light conditions.

    1 When using the camera, tap

    2 Tap  EV and drag the slider to adjust the exposure value.
    3 Close the settings menu. The setting is saved.
    4 Press the camera key or tap the shutter button to take a photo.
    This setting is only available in Manual mode.
    Shutter speed
    Shutter speed refers to how long the shutter is open and the camera sensor is exposed to light.
    A fast shutter speed helps to freeze motion, while a slow shutter speed can create an  e

    In Superior auto and Video modes, white balance adjustments are automatic. You
    can adjust the white balance manually in Manual mode.

    Setting the right focus
    The camera automatically sets the focus and detects faces in all capturing modes.It can also detect and track a moving object. A yellow frame indicates the face or moving object that is in focus.
    One way to change the focus area is to move your camera around with the camera
    key half-pressed. Once the focus is set, the circular frame turns blue. This
    technique can be used, for example, to change the focus to a person who is at the
    side of a group photo.

    1 When using the main camera, tap

    2 Tap  More  > Predictive Capture  > Auto .
    3 Close the settings menu. The setting is saved.
    4 Press the camera key or tap the shutter button to take a photo.
    5 Tap the thumbnail to view the result. Two to four photos are saved
    depending on the movement of the object.  Predictive Capture can also
    detect unexpected smiles.
    6 Tap  SELECT THE BEST  to save one or more photos.
    This option is only available in Superior auto mode for the main camera.
    To track an object
    1 When using the camera, tap 
    .
    2 Tap  More  and tap the  Object tracking  slider to enable.
    3 Close the settings menu. The setting is saved.
    4 Select an object to track by touching it in the  view
    						
    							videos in Super slow motion, or short sequences embedded within a videorecorded at normal speed.
