STEYR SCOUT RIFLE
This manual and the warnings contained herein must
be read and understood before using your rifle.  This man-
ual familiarizes the user with the function and the handling
of the rifle and warns of the potential dangers of misuse that
may lead to accidents or injuries. This manual should
always accompany this firearm and be transferred with it
upon change of ownership, or when the firearm is loaned or
presented to another person. THIS MANUAL IS NOT A

This manual is for use with Steyr ÒScout Rifle. Although
the underlying mechanism and action is that of the Steyr
SBS Safe Bolt 96 rifle, there are design modifications
which vary the overall appearances and uses. Read this

Stay alert and be aware of all persons and property within shooting
range.

the action and inspect the chamber for ammunition, and unload any
firearm before giving the firearm to another person for inspection.
