» CD-RW750 —Quick Start Guide Viewing CD TEXT The CD-RW750 can display disc and track titles of finalized CDs that contain such infor- mation. The way that titles are displayed is as follows: Disc titles These may be up to 23 characters long. When a disc is first loaded in the CD-RW750, the display first shows TOC Loading... When the TOC (Table of Contents) has been read, the display shows the total running time of the disc. This is replaced by the first 12 characters of the title after a few seconds. The title is shown for a few seconds and then the total disc running time is re-displayed.To show the whole of a disc title (if it is longer than 12 characters) or to toggle the display between the disc title and the running time, press the DISPLAY key while playback is stopped. The title is shown, and if it is longer than 12 characters, it is scrolled across the display. Pressing DISPLAY again reverts to the disc running time. Track titles Track titles, like disc titles, may be up to 23 characters long. When playing back a track, the first 12 charac- ters of a title are shown for a couple of sec- onds, about three seconds into the track. As well as allowing you to view the elapsed disc and track times, and the remaining disc and track times, the DISPLAY key can also be used to display the track titles on a finalized disc. In this case, if a track title contains more than 12 characters , the track title is scrolled across the display.
