COMPLETING THE EQUIPMENT LIST Item 4 Optional Equipment SMDR Cable Kit (B-SMDR-LA)The B-SMDR-LA Cable Kit (P/N 15346) provides the necessary hardware for B-SMDR-LA PCB operation in the following P/N 15001, 15100, 15200, 15300. The kit contains the following components: 0SMDR Jack-Mounting Bracket for the KSU 025-conductor ribbon cable for connection to B-SMDR-LA PCB 0In/Out of Service rocker switch with red LED 0RS-232-C Jack for connection of serial SMDR printer SMDR Cable Kit (B-SMDR-LA) The B-SMDR-LA Cable Kit (P/N 15347) is designed for the following KSU-Bs: P/N 15101, 15201, 15301. It provides the same components as the P/N 15346 Cable Kit except: 0SMDR Jack-Mounting Plate instead of the Mounting Bracket Loud Bell Relay Kit (LBR Kit) The LBR Kit (P/N 15341) is an interface kit used to adapt a BUSINESSCOM PLUS telephone for Loud Bell Relay Operation. It provides the contact switching necessary to drive a loud signaling device, a horn or a bell) or a ringing indicator (e.g., a lamp or beehive indicator). The Loud Bell Relay Kit contains the following components: 0B-TBU-D PCB 0B-LBR-A Assembly,including the B-LBR-A PCB 0 AC/DC adaptor 06-Conductor Modular Jack for inside telephone 0 Jumper Cable * The B-LBR-A PCB (P/N 15340) may be ordered separately as a replacement part. l-22
COMPLETING THE EQUIPMENT LIST Item 4 Optional Equipment Battery Backup Box The Battery Backup Box (P/N 15321H) provides power to a BUSINESSCOM PLUS System in case of a power failure.The BUSINESSCOM PLUS System requires a Power Supply.The BUSINESSCOM PLUS 64 System requires a 15320H or a 15323H Power Supply. The Battery Backup Box contains a: 0fuse 0safety or pull-up relay 0terminal block 0terminal connecting wire as well as battery terminal screws and large tie wraps. The customer provides the batteries which are not included. Wall-Mounting Kit The Wall-Mounting Kit (P/N 15412) is used to mount a BUSINESSCOM PLUS telephone to the wall. It contains one of each component listed below: 0Handset hanger for holding handset in place when mounting on wall 0Wall-mount base 0Six-wire modular cord 0Wall-mounting plate and eight screws for mounting. Door Chime BoxThe Door Chime Box (P/N 15040) is installed to allow someone inside to converse with someone outside at the door.For Door Chime operation, a PCB (P/N 15045) must be installed in the KSU of a BUSINESSCOM PLUS or a B-DDU-A PCB (P/N 15130) in the KSU of a BUSINESSCOM PLUS Up to two Door Chime Boxes may be used in a BUSINESSCOM PLUS System. The Door Chime Box provides: 0Distinctive ringing tones (if two boxes are used) 0Intercom call capabilities to Door Chime Box or Boxes 0Programmed ringing assignments for Door Chime tones 1-23
COKPLETING THE EQUIPMENT LIST Item 4 Optional Equipment DSS Console/ Door Chime Interface PCB (B-DDU-A)The B-DDU-A PCB (P/N 15130) is inserted in the KSU of a BUSINESSCOM PLUS for use with Door Chime Box (P/N 15040) and DSS Console (P/N 15151 or Modular Adaptor DSS Console It provides: 0Interface circuits for two Door Chime Boxes 0VR-1 to adjust audio volume level to the Door Chime Box 0Interface circuits for two DSS Console positions The Modular Adaptor (P/N 62598) can be attached to the KSU of a BUSINESSCOM PLUS (P/N 15001) only so that the telephones can be plugged directly into the KSU.It eliminates the need for wiring the telephones to a station block. The DSS Console (P/N 15151) is designed for the BUSINESSCOM PLUS only, and it provides: 0DSS keys with for BLF indications 0Ring-Inward key 0All Call Paging key with LED 0External All Zone Paging key with LED 0Two External Zone Paging keys with 0Four Internal Zone Paging keys with 0Night Transfer key with LED 0Message Waiting key with LED 0Signal/Voice Call key 0Two Door Chime Box keys with 0Alarm LED 64 DSS ConsoleThe 64 DSS Console (P/N 15351) provides the same features as those of the DSS Console (P/N but it is designed for the BUSINESSCOM PLUS 64 only. l-24
