    3.PuttheStart/StopEngineControlintheSTARTill

    NOTE: 
    4-strokeengines,likecars,areabletostartinthe 
    idleposition.Asanalternatemethod,youmay 
    wanttostartyourunitintheidlepositionwhen 
    theunitiswarm.WiththeStart/Stopcontrolin 
    theSTARTposition,pullthestarterropebriskly. 
    Whentheenginestarts,runatfullthrottlefor30 
    seconds.Iftheunitfailstostartordies,revertto 
    theEngineRe-Startprocedure.

    NOTE:Alwayskeepthetrimminglinefullyextended. 
    Linereleasebecomesmoredifficultascutting 
    linebecomesshorter Eachtimetheheadisbumped,about1inch(25.4mm.) 
    oftrimminglineisreleased.Abladeinthecutting 
    attachmentshieldwillcutthelinetotheproperlengthif 
    excesslineisreleased. 
    Forbestresults,taptheBumpHeadTMonbareground 
    orhardsoil.Iflinereleaseisattemptedintallgrass,the 
    enginemaystall.Alwayskeepthetrimminglinefully 
    extended.Linereleasebecomesmoredifficultasthe 
    cuttinglinebecomesshorter. 
    NOTE:DonotresttheBumpHeadTMontheground 
    whiletheunitisrunning. 
    i_AUTION:Donotremoveoraltertheline  cuttingbladeassembly.Excessivelinelength 
    willmaketheclutchoverheat.Thismaylead

    idlessmoothly.
