    The world-class Vidikron Vision™ Model 40 represents the pinnacle in high performance 
    video projection using the latest HD-2+,16:9 widescreen DLP™ technology. The Model 
    40’s advanced engineering innovations, features and picture quality qualify it as the 
    centerpiece of state-of-the-art home theater installations.
    The Model 40’s 950 ANSI lumens of light output and 1600:1 contrast ratio make it a superb 
    choice for home theaters with recommended screen requirements all the way up to 96 
    inches wide. The internal video processing with 3:2 fi lm detection circuitry and full HDTV 
    compatibility (with outboard tuner/decoder or satellite receiver) make the Model 40 
    capable of projecting any video source with stunning results.
    The Model 40’s multiple aspect ratio control includes Vidikron’s IntelliWide™ mode, off  ering 
    the ability to view standard video formats in widescreen without loss of image quality. 
    Advanced digital keystone correction and discrete IR or RS-232 control facilitate custom 
    installations seamlessly, while discrete source and aspect ratio selection accommodate 
    automation control systems.
    The Vision Model 40 off  ers a variable throw distance of 1.38:1 to 1.63:1, while an optional 
    lens provides a longer variable throw distance of 1.83:1 to 2.40:1. Both lenses feature a 
    ‘cat’s eye’ optical system that enhances contrast and optimizes black level performance. In 
    addition, a unique 9-point white balance system accounts for superb gray scale tracking, 
    enabling the Model 40 to off  er stellar images with crisp detail and deeply saturated colors.
    The high performance Model 40 off  ers all of the quality expected of a Vidikron product, 
    packaged in an aesthetically pleasing chassis with a very modest footprint.
