5.Attaching the Ceiling Mount Extension Brackets: Use the supplied hardware to attach 
the ceiling mount extension brackets to the bottom of the projector as shown in 
Figure 
3-6.  
 
For ceiling installations, these brackets bring the mounting points for the projector 
mounting plate (included with the projector ceiling mount kit) from the bottom of the

Installing the Lens Base Plate (Vision 70/CineWide): To install the fixed CineWide base 
plate on a Vision 70/CineWide:
1. Place the projector upside down on a blanket or other soft surface. 
2. Line up the four mounting holes on the CineWide base plate with those on the bottom 
of the projector.
3.If you are mounting the Vision 70/CineWide on a ceiling: Line up the four holes on

Mounting the Vision 70
There are several methods for mounting the projector. Depending on your chosen 
installation, one method may be more suitable than another. 
Floor Mounting (Upright)In typical front and rear screen installations, the projector can be placed upright on a secure 
and level surface such as a table or cart. Carts are useful when moving a projector during a

Proceed as follows to connect the Vision 70 to your video sources, external controller(s) – if 
present – and AC power.
When connecting your equipment:
 Turn off all equipment before making any connections.
 Use the correct signal cables for each source.
 Ensure that the cables are securely connected. Tighten the thumbscrews on connectors 
that have them.
