    Blocking Selected Input Source
    To block the selected input source:
    1. Press MENU to display the OSD main menu.
    2. Press ◄ or ► to select PARENTAL menu, then press ENTER to 
    enter the menu. 
    3. Enter the password. 
    4. Press ▲ or ▼ to select  Source Lock, then press ENTER to enter 
    its submenu.
    5. Press ▲ or ▼ to select the input source that you want to block.
    6. Press ENTER to confirm. A 
    icon indicates the selected input source has been blocked.
    7. Press EXIT to exit the menu.
    Resetting to Factory Default Settings
    To reset all setting to the factory default settings:
    1. Press MENU to display the OSD main menu.
    2. Press ◄ or ► to select  OTHERS menu, then press ENTER to 
    enter  
    the menu. 
    3. Press ▲ or ▼ to select  All Reset, then press ENTER to reset to 
    the default settings.
    TV ID Setting
    To set ID number to TV for RS232 function:
    1. Press MENU to display the OSD main menu.
    2. Press ◄ or ► to select  OTHERS menu, then press ENTER to 
    enter  
    the menu. 
    3. Press ▲ or ▼ to select  TV ID.
    4. Press ◄ or ► to set the ID number (1~98).   
    For details information, refer to the RS232 Protocol on page 
    34~42.
    5. Press EXIT to exit the menu.

    Customizing PC Display
    Connect the PC and your TV using the VGA cable. See “Personal Computer” on page 10.
    1. Press INPUT  to display the Source Select menu.
    2. Press ▲ or ▼ to select PC, then press ENTER to confirm the 
    setting.
    3. Press MENU to display the OSD main menu.
    4. Press ◄ or ► to select  PICTURE menu, then press ENTER to 
    enter the menu. 
    5. Press ▲ or ▼ to select  PC Settings, then press ENTER to enter 
    its submenu.
    6. Press ▲ or ▼ to select  Auto Adjust, Horizontal Position , 
    Vertical Position , Clock, or Phase, and press ◄ or ► to adjust 
    the setting.
    7. Press EXIT to exit the menu.

    1. Plug a USB device to the USB connector on the rear side of the TV.
    2. Press INPUT  to display the Source Select menu.
    3. Press ▲ or ▼ to select  USB, then press ENTER to confirm the setting. The USB menu appears 
    on the screen.

    2. Press ▲ or ▼ to select a song, then press  ENTER to 
    play. An automatic playback begins from the selected 
    song.

    •  To stop the playback, press ◄ or ► to select 
     
    icon, then press ENTER.
    j You can directly view the playlist by selecting  NowPlaying, then press ENTER. 
    Viewing Photos
    1. Press ◄ or ► to select  Photo, then press ENTER. 
    If there are several folders, press ▲ or ▼ to select the desired folder , then press ENTER to view 
    the subfolder content. 
    2. Press ▲ or ▼ to select a photo, then press  ENTER to view the photo in full screen.
    •  Press EXIT to stop the slide show.
    Customizing Slide Show Settings
    1. Press ◄ or ► to select  Media Setting, then press 
    ENTER. 
    2. Press ▲ or ▼ to select the menu item, and press ◄  or ► to adjust the setting.

    Slideshow Interval Set the interval time between each slide displays (3 S / 5 S / 10 S / 30 S / 
    1 Min / 30 Min).
    Slideshow Effect Select the transition effect between each slide displays (Random / Off /   
    Wipe Right / Wipe Left / Wipe Up / Wipe Down / Comb Side / Comb 
    UpDown / Checker / Mosaic / Fade / Blind Right / Blind Left / Blind Up /\

    Adjusting On-Screen Display (OSD) Settings
    1. Press MENU to display the OSD main menu.

    Menu item Description
    Picture 
    Settings Apply a preset picture mode optimized for 
    different viewing conditions (Standard / Movie / 
    User /Power Saving / Dynamic).

    Picture Settings is set to  User, you can 
    adjust the following settings:
    •  Brightness: Adjust the brightness setting.
    •  Contrast: Adjust the difference between 
    the light and dark levels in the picture.
    •  Saturation: Adjust the color detail of 
    images.
    •  Hue: Adjust the picture hue.
    •  Sharpness: Adjust the sharpness of the 
    edges of elements in the picture.
    Screen Size Select the aspect ratio of the display (Zoom / 
    Normal / Wide / Cinema).

    Auto Adjust: Synchronize the display 
    automatically.
    •  Horizontal Position : Move the screen 
    position horizontally.

    reduce the noise of picture.
    •  Phase: Adjust delay time of phase in order to 
    reduce the noise of picture.
    •  Reset : Reset to the default settings.

    (Normal / Warm / Cool).

    brilliance of the picture (High / Medium / Low).

    Settings Set additional picture settings:

    Dynamic Contrast : Automatically  enhance 
    the image for greater picture details.
    •  Film Mode : Produce smoother motion picture 
    when viewing movies from video players 
    connected via HDMI.
    •  Noise Reduction: Reduce the noise level.
    •  MPEG Noise Reduction : Reduce the noise 
    level when viewing movies.
    HDMI Mode Allows to set the HDMI Mode to be: Video/PC.
    •	Video:  Use when connected to Video 
    sources (Blu-Ray, DVD, etc) for optimal 
    video playback.
    •	 PC: Use when connected to PC for 
    optimal text.
    Sound Menu
    Menu item Description
    Sound 
    Settings Apply a preset audio option optimized for 
    different sounding conditions (Standard / Soft / 
    User / Dynamic).

    adjust the following settings:
    •  Bass : Adjust the bass level to your 
    preference.
    •  Treble: Adjust the treble level to your 
    preference.
    •  Balance: Adjust the sound balance 
    between the left and right speakers.
    Analog Sound Select the analog audio mode (Mono / SAP / 
    Stereo).
    * Only available for analog channels.
    Digital Sound Select the digital audio mode.
    * Only available for digital channels.
    Digital Audio 
    Output Select the type of digital audio output to an 
    external audio system (Off / PCM / Raw).

    •  Block UnRated Show: Block all unrated 
    programs.
    •  Downloadable Rating : Download updated

    •  Clear Downloaded Data: Delete the

    •  Daylight Saving Time: Set to turn on/off 
    daylight saving.

    ProblemPossible Solution
    No power • Make sure the AC power cord is properly connected to the wall 
    outlet.
    •  Plug another electrical device (like a radio) to the power outlet to 
    verify that the outlet is supplying the proper voltage.
    No picture • The TV station may be experiencing problems. Try another 
    channel.
    •  The Cable TV signal may be scrambled or encoded. Please 
    contact your local cable operator.
    •  Make sure that the cable connection to other components are 
    properly installed.
    •  Make sure that setup has been done correctly after connections.
    •  Make sure the correct input is selected and the input signal is 
    compatible.
    Strange color, light color,  
    or color misalignment • 
    Ensure that the video cable is securely connected.
    •  The picture may appear dim in a brightly lit room.
    •  Adjust the display settings.
    •  Check the input signal setting.
    No sound • Check your audio connections to other components are properly 
    installed.
    •  The MUTE button may have been pressed, try pressing this 
    button again.
    •  Check your audio settings, your TV audio may be set to 
    minimum.
    •  Press VOL + on the remote control.
