Software Overview and Features 
The Digital Camera includes a mass storage driver that provides fast and easy video and image 
download. Also included are Ulead PhotoExpress software. These programs 
provide powerful and user-friendly tools to edit, enhance, and organize the digital pictures and videos.

Making Connections 
 
 
How to Connect to the PC 
 
1.  Make sure the camera’s power is OFF. 
2.   Connect the small end of the USB cable to the USB port on the camera.   
3.  Connect the larger end of the USB cable to the USB port on the computer.    
4.  The camera’s red LED will light to indicate  PC-connection, the computer will detect a 
new hardware, and display the following message: “New Hardware Found, COACH 
DSC, Mass Storage Driver“....

to the computer to transfer the files without using a third party application or installing a TWAIN driver. 
However, only the newer versions of Windows operating systems (2000/ME/XP) support mass storage 
feature. If using a Windows 98SE operating syst em, install the mass storage driver first.

Places to Avoid 
Do not store or use the camera in the following environments:  
-  Very humid, dirty or dusty places 
-   In direct sunlight or in places subject to extrem e temperature rises, such as in a closed car in  
     summer/winter 
-   Extremely cold places 
-   Places subject to strong vibrations 
-   Places affected by smoke or steam

Safety Rules 
 
♦  Do not use the flash close to anyone’s eyes,  especially when taking pictures of a baby. 
♦   When a fault arises, power OFF the camera immediately and remove the batteries or disconnect the 
USB connection with a PC. 
♦   Power OFF the camera and remove the batteries or disconnect the USB connection with a PC when 
the camera becomes very warm, emit smoke, emit  unusual odor or in any other abnormal state.

Troubleshooting
