    Flash-Shots
The bessy k has a built-in capacitor type flash unit

snapshots in the home or at parties.
The flash capacitor operates on a battery-capacitorignition, fed by al5voltbattery, inserted asfollows:Press arrow marking (8) sidewards against thebottom-plate and lift up on the alternate side. Thebattery must be fitted with the * pole inwards (see
    marking in illustration).
By pressing the flash-symbol (3), the reflectorswings out, automatically setting the shutter speedto 1/30 of a second. Favorable flash range: Fromabout 9 to 18 feet with black-and-white film, withcolor film from about 6 to 101/z feet.
The flashbulb is inserted by pushing it into thesocket in the reflector, after the flash guard hasbeen removed first. However, you should alwaysput the guard back on when shooting a piciure!
Dispose of the used flashbulb by pressing thebutton (12) after the flash guard has again beenremoved.
