    Add the detergent as described in the programme table and in the 
    chapter “Detergent and Additives”  in your Instructions for Use.
    1. Press  “On/Off”   to switch on the washer. The light of the selected 
    programme is on, and the  “Start (Pause)” button   blinks.
    2. Turn the  programme selector  to the desire
    d programme - 
    it is marked by a light.
    3. The predefined  temperature and 
    spin speed  can be altered 
    by pressing the “Temperature”   and the “Spin speed”   
    modifier.
    Selecting any option or modifier, the indication lights u p. If the 
    combination of programme, options  or modifiers is not possible, 
    the indication lights switch off automatically and a s ignal sounds.
    “Eco” button
     The duration of the wash is extended and the  temperature 
    reduced. This saves you energy an d maintains good washing results.
    “Easy ironing” button
     Reduces creasing by increased wate r quantity and a very gentle spin. 
    “Rinse hold” button
     The laundry remains in the last rinse water without being spun:  this prevents creasing an d colours from changing.  Particularly useful if you want 
    to postpone spinning to a later 
    time, or if you want to drain only.
     Do not leave the laundry to soak in the rinse hold for too long.
    Note:  The programme starts to “Rinse hold” when the “Rin
    se hold” 
    button light blinks; the  “Start (Pause)” button light   also blinks.
    Terminate the “Rinse hold” option  :
     Press the “Rinse hold” or the  “Start (Pause)” button  ; the 
    programme will terminate automatically with the final sp in 
    cycle for the present wash programme.
     If you do not wish to spin the clothes, press and  hold the 
    “Reset (Drain)”  button   for a few seconds. The water 
    is drained out then, before the door can be opened.
    “Spin speed” modifier
     Every programme has an automatic predefined spin speed.
     Press the button to set another spin speed.
     If you select spin speed “0”, the final spinning is cancelled and 
    the water is drained out only  at the end of the programme.
    “Rinse” modifier 
     “SkinCare”  : maximum amount of rinse water is  added, 
    and rinse cycle is prolonged.
     “Intensive rinse”  : more rinse water is added, and  rinse 
    cycle is prolonged.
     Particularly suitable for areas with very soft water , for baby 
    clothes or to help people with skin allergies.CONSUMPTION DATA

    The remaining programme time can deviate from  the values in the table as it depends on the size of your wash load,  water inlet temperature etc.; the 
    remaining time indication is newly calc ulated and updated if necessary approximately 20 minutes after program me start.
    The consumption data for “Heavy duty ” refer  to a programme setting without “Eco” and “Heavy soil”, except the data which is indicated in the line marked with “***”.*
    To reduce the water temperature, some cold water is added at the end of the main  wash cycle, before the pump drains the water o ut.
    **
    The grey shaded columns show energy consumptions  and programme durations for the washing machine being conne cted to both hot and cold fill, 
    with a hot fill inlet temperature of 60°C. The columns left  from them show energy consumptions  and programme durations for the washing machine 
    being connected to cold wa ter only by the Y-adapter.

    ADD DETERGENT, CLOSE THE DOOR AND 
    SELECT THE PROGRAMMESELECT ANY DESIRED OPTION OR MODIFIER
    “Options” modifier
     Prewash  :
     Adds a prewash cycle to the programme sele cted.
     Use only for heavily soiled loads (e.g. sand, granular  dirt).
     Increases the cycle time by approx. 25 minute s.
     Do not use liquid detergent for the main wash when selecting  “Prewash”.
     Clean + 
     Choose this option if you use an in-wash additi ve for stain 
    removal (powder, for example Vanish).
     Optimizes the additive’s e fficiency to get better wash 
    performance and stain removal.
     Select temperature of 30 or 40°C and use with maximum load.
     Add an appropriate amount of in-wash additive for stain  removal (powder) to the prewash chamber.
     Appropriate for use of stain removers and bl eaches on oxygen 
    basis.  Chlorine or perborate bleaches must not be use d!
     Normal
    “Soil level” modifier 
     Adapts the programme duration to  the soil level of your laundry.
     = Normal /   = Soiled /   = Heavy soil
    If there is a programme setting  which you use frequently, the 
    washing machine offers the possibility to save one setting for  each 
    programme so that it can be used again by just pushing  one button.
     Select the desired programme, temperature, spin  speed and 
    options/modifiers.
    Press and hold the  “Favourites” button   for some seconds; the 
    light goes on and a signal sounds when the programme set ting is saved.
    Next time you want to use your individual programme set ting, turn the 
    programme selector to the desired programme,  shortly push the 
    “Favourites”  button   and start by pressing 
    “Start (Pause)” .
    If you want to replace the saved setting by another one:
     Select the programme desired and the new temperature,  spin, 
    options/modifi er setting.
    Press and hold the  “Favourites” button   for at least 3 
    seconds; the previously saved setting is replaced by the new  one.
    The “Start delay”   allows to run the machine at th e consumer’s 
    convenience, for example at nigh t when electricity is cheaper.
     Select programme, temperature an d options/modifiers as desired.
     Press the “Start delay ” button to select the delay time by 1 to  24 hours.
    Press and hold the  “Start (Pause)” button  ; the 
    countdown of the delay time begins. The light of the “Start 
    delay ” button will keep blinking until the programme star ts.
     The time delay indication  disappears when the programme 
    starts and it is replaced by the remaining time.
    To cancel the “Start delay”:
    Press  “Reset (Drain)”    for at least 3 seconds, or set the 
    delay time to “0:0” - the delay  time will disappear from the 
    display after a few seconds. Turn on the tap and press and hold the 
    “Start (Pause)” button   
    - the button’s light stops blinking and goes on; it will take so me time 
    until water enters into the washing machine.
    The programme sequence indicator on the display shows the  
    sequence reached in the prog ramme. After starting the 
    programme, the indication runs from left to right through  “Add 
    garment”, prewash, wash, rinse, spin. When a programme 
    sequence is finished, the corresponding symbol goe s off.
    The display shows the remaining programme time. Due  to 
    variations in load and temperatur e of inlet water, the remaining 
    time is newly calculated in certai n programme phases. If this is the 
    case, an animation appears on the display and the and the  “6
    th 
    Sense” symbol   lights up.
    As soon as a programme starts, th e “Door locked” symbol   lights 
    up on the display.
    You can interrupt the programme by pressing  “Start (Pause)”  
    - the light blinks. The “Door locked” symbol   on the display goes 
    off and you can open the door. In  certain programme phases, the 
    “Door locked” symbol   remains lit to show that the  door cannot 
    be opened in the present programme phase, e.g. when the  water 
    level is too high or during spinning.
    As long as the “Add garment” symb ol   lights up on the display, 
    you can add more washing: press  “Start (Pause)” , open the 
    door, add your washing, close the door and press  “Start (Pause)” 
     to continue the programme.
    “End” appears on the disp lay, and a signal sounds.
    1. Switch the machine off by pressing  “On/Off” .
    2. Turn off the tap and open the door to unload your washing. Leave  the door open for some time so  that the washer’s inside can dry.
    1. Press the  “Start (Pause)”  button   to interrupt the 
    programme. The light blinks.
    2. Select the new programme, temperature and  options/
    modifiers as desired.
    3. Press the  “Start (Pause)”  button   again. The new 
    programme continues at the same position where the 
    previous programme was interrupted. Do not add detergent 
    for this programme.
    Press and hold the  “Reset (Drain)” button   for a few 
    seconds; the light blinks. It will take some time until any exis ting 
    water is drained out and the door can be opened (up to  10 
    minutes). Caution, the washing could still be hot!

    Connect hot and cold water supply 
    (Fig.1):1. Fix one water inlet hose at the red valve 
    (“ H ”) of the washing machine and at the hot 
    water tap.
    2. Fix the other water inlet hose at the white  valve (“ C”) of the washing machine and at 
    the cold water tap.
    To get the optimum performance you should 
    use both the hot and cold water supplies.
    Make sure:
    a) The connections are tight, but do not  overtighten by using a tool.
    b) Do not invert their position (for example: cold fill  into hot inlet valve and 
    viceversa).
    c) And see Instructions for Use “Connect the  water supply hose”.
    If you wish to connect only the cold 
    fill (Fig. 2):1. Fix the enclosed Y-adapter  to the cold fill tap.
    2. Connect the two inlet valves on the rear of  the machine to the Y-adapter by means of 
    the two water inlet hoses.
    Make sure all connections are tightly fixed.
    The Y-adapter must not be connected to a 
    hot fill water tap.
    Do not allow children to operate, crawl on, near or inside your washer. 
    Close supervision of children is necessary when the appliance is used 
    near them.
    HOT (“H”) / COLD (“C”) FILL INSTRUCTION
    Please observe that both inlet valves (red and white) of the washing 
    machine have to be connected to the water supply. There are two 
    alternative ways of doing this:
