electrical outlet (ordinary household current). Do not use any other type of outlet.
HOW TO USE YOUR HEATER:
1. Set the heater on a firm, flat and level surface.
2. Turn the power selector control to ÒOFFÓ position.
3. Turn the adjustable thermostat to ÔÕMINÕÕ position.
4. Plug into any 120V, 60Hz AC source. Ensure no other appliances are plugged 
into same circuit with your Heater/Fan. A circuit overload could occur. 
CAUTION:
Do not operate your Heater/Fan with damaged cord or plug.
5. Turn the power selector control to select either the fan only or one of the 
three heat selection settings.
IMPORTANT:To reset the safety overload if heater shuts down, unplug heater
for at least 10 minutes, permitting the heater to cool. If shut-off continues to
activate frequently, follow the above steps. If the condition still persists, then
return the unit to an authorized service center for repair and/or replacement in
accordance with the warranty terms and conditions.
AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF DEVICE: 
The automatic shut-off device is a PTC ceramic component that will protect
you from any inadvertent abnormal overheating malfunction by shutting down
the entire heating system within seconds of the failureÕs occurrence. After the
automatic shut-off device has been activated due to a heating overload, the
cause -- such as a drape or any other obstruction, or a tipped-over unit that
must be righted -- must be removed before it will automatically reset. This will
also require that you switch the power switch of the unit to the ÒOFFÓ position
and unplug the cord from the wall outlet. It will take at least ten minutes before
the shut-off device will automatically reset. After at least ten minutes, plug in
the unit and turn the power switch to the desired setting. The Heater should
now once again perform normally. The automatic shut-off device prevents
continual recycling of a unit that is malfunctioning. 
FROST WATCH: 
For the Frost Watch to operate, the main selector control switch must be in the
Operating position. When in this position, the Heater will operate when the
temperature falls below approximately 5¡C.This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user serviceable
parts. Do not try to fix it yourself. Refer it to qualified service personnel if
servicing is needed.
TO CLEAN:Always unplug and disconnect the cord from the electrical outlet
when cleaning your heater. Accumulated dust may be removed from the heater
with a soft cloth or vacuum cleaner using the dusting brush attachment.
Interior dust can often be removed by using a vacuum cleaner in its blower
mode with a crevice attachment.
Heater may also be cleaned with a cloth that has been moistened with a
solution of mild detergent and water. Dry the case thoroughlywith a soft, dry
cloth before operating the unit.
CAUTION: Do not allow water to run into the interior of the heater, as this could
create an electric shock hazard.
TO STORE:When storing heater during the off season, be sure to store it in a
dry area. Wrap the power cord into a neat package. The power cord should not
be in contact with sharp edges, and it should not be compressed by heavy
objects.
REMEMBER:Portable electric heaters are designed for space heating or 
as a supplementary heat source. They are not intended be the main source of
heat.

LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. 
If any are found, this indicates that the appliance should be serviced and

7. Once the room temperature is comfortable, turn the adjustable thermostat dial 
counterclockwise until fan goes off. The heat will now cycle ON/OFFand 
maintain comfort level.
8. If you desire ÒFANÓoperation without heat, turn the power selector to ÒFANÓ
position and turn the adjustable thermostat dial clockwise until the fan 
is operating. No heating will occur in this mode.
NOTE:The ÒADJUSTABLE THERMOSTATÓdoes not vary the speed of the fan.
The heater is equipped with two indicator lights. The red light indicates that the
unit is in operation. It will illuminate when the heater is plugged in and in an
operating position.
The amber light is illuminated when the resettable thermal safety cut is activated.
Should the amber light go on, it indicates that the cutout has already been
activated. This is a safety feature to prevent overheating.
SAFETY OVERHEAT AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF: 
Your heater is equipped with an automatic shut-off device. This device will turn
the heater off if the heat inside the case becomes too high. This shut-off, if
activated, will turn off the heater elements until the unit is reset. If heater shuts
off, make sure that all heater openings are clear of all obstructions.
