commande, puis sur le bouton ÇRƒCHAUFFAGEÈ.  Le tŽmoin de rŽchauffage
sallumera et ne sŽteindra que lorsque le cycle de ÇRƒCHAUFFAGEÈ sera
terminŽ. Ë ce moment, le pain/les aliments grillŽs seront expulsŽs du grille-

ÇRƒCHAUFFAGEÈ.
Le bouton ÇANNULATIONÈ sert ˆ interrompre le cycle de grillage lorsque le
grille-pain est en marche. Appuyez sur le bouton ÇANNULATIONÈ et le
pain/les aliments grillŽs seront immŽdiatement expulsŽs. NE modifiez PAS le
rŽglage du sŽlecteur du degrŽ de grillage et NE soulevez PAS la poignŽe de
commande lorsque le grille-pain est en marche. Utilisez TOUJOURS le
bouton ÇANNULATIONÈ. USING THE REHEAT AND CANCEL BUTTONS
REHEAT button with indicator light allows toasted breads/foods to be
reheated without burning. To use this function, set the browning control
dial at 1. Depress the operating handle, then the  REHEAT button. The
reheat indicator light will go on and stay illuminated until REHEAT cycle
is completed.  When reheating is finished, light will go off and
bread/toaster food will pop up. Procedure must be repeated for each
REHEAT cycle.
CANCEL button will interrupt toasting cycle at any time toaster is in use.
Depress CANCEL button and toast/toaster food will immediately pop up.
DO NOT make adjustments to the browning control or lift the operating
handle while toaster is in operation. ALWAYS use the CANCEL button.
This appliance is for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. It may be plugged into any
AC electrical outlet (ordinary household current). Do not use any other
type of outlet.
HOW TO USE THE TOASTER
Adjust the browning control dial to the desired setting. Exact settings are
difficult to recommend due to personal preference; experiment to suit
individual taste. Thick foods and those containing fillings will require a
longer toasting time. Turn control to a medium or high setting to increase
time. Some frozen pastries and toaster foods may require two heating
cycles for proper results.
Remove all protective wrappings from food before placing in toasting
wells. (Avoid toasting torn slices of bread and broken pastries, which may
get lodged in toasting wells.) Place bread or toaster food into toasting
wells and depress the operating handle.
Adjustable bread guides automatically center all thicknesses of breads,
bagels and pastries.
When toast or toaster food is ready, it will pop up automatically, and the
toaster will switch off.

LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion 
marks. If any are found, this indicates that the appliance should 
be serviced and the line cord replaced. Please return it to our

Before using, operate the toaster without bread in order to burn off
residues on the heating elements. When doing this, we suggest that the
toaster color control be set at a medium setting.

miettes. NE penchez PAS le grille-pain ˆ un angle trop aigu sinon les miettes
retomberont ˆ lintŽrieur. Prenez le bouton du ramasse-miettes et glissez-le

ouvert, tenez le grille-pain au-dessus de la serviette de table ou de papier et
agitez-le doucement pour faire tomber les miettes. Nettoyez le ramasse-
miettes ˆ laide dune petite brosse puis essuyez-le avec une Žponge

REVæTEMENT EXTƒRIEUR:Essuyez les parois extŽrieures avec un linge
humide et propre. Nutilisez pas de nettoyants abrasifs puisquils peuvent

un instrument en mŽtal pour dŽloger les miettes.
RANGEMENT:DŽbranchez le grille-pain, laissez-le refroidir puis nettoyez-le

HOW TO USE
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable
parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. Refer it to qualified personnel if
servicing is needed.
TO CLEAN:ALWAYS UNPLUG THE TOASTER AND ALLOW IT TO COOL
BEFORE CLEANING. Gently shake the toaster so crumbs fall on the crumb
tray. Open the crumb tray.
TO OPEN CRUMB TRAY:The crumb tray is located on the bottom of the
toaster. To open it, place toaster over a napkin or paper towel and tilt
toaster slightly, just enough to pop open crumb tray. DO NOT tilt toaster at
too sharp an angle, or crumbs will fall back inside it. Grasp knob on crumb
tray, and slide it upward slightly to unlatch it. Hold toaster with open
crumb tray over napkin or towel, and shake gently so crumbs fall out.
Clean with a small brush, then wipe with a slightly damp sponge and dry
thoroughly with a soft cloth. After cleaning, close and relatch crumb tray
by sliding knob upward slightly until latch is secured.
EXTERIOR:Wipe surface with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive
cleaners, as they may scratch the surface.  
NOTE: Never immerse the toaster in water. Never use a metal implement
to dislodge crumbs.
TO STORE:Unplug unit, allow to cool, and clean before storing. Store in its
box in a clean, dry place. Never store it while it is hot or still plugged in.
Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance.Do not put any stress 
on the cord where it enters the unit, as it could cause the cord to fray 
and break.
