							HOW TO USE
CARE AND CLEANING
This appliance is for household use and may be plugged into a standard electrical standard.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place fan base on firm, stable surface such as a table or countertop.
2. Mount the rear grill to the motor housing by matching the round holes in the rear grille (one at the top, one at 
the bottom) to the round pins on the front of the motor housing. Push in firmly until the pins protrude through 
the holes.
3. Secure the rear grille to the motor housing by placing the plastic collar over the thread hub around the motor 
shaft and turning collar clockwise to tighten.
4. Push blade into the shaft pin firmly in place until it cannot be pulled out.
5. Please refer to the enclosed instruction sheet for details on how to assemble the front grille.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the fan on a safe, flat surface where it cannot fall or be pulled by the cord.
2. Before plugging in, adjust the direction of the airflow by firmly holding the base with one hand and pushing the 
fan grille back to tilt up or by pushing it forward to tilt down.
3. To make the fan oscillate, push down on the oscillating knob located on the top of the motor housing. To stop 
the fan from oscillating, pull up on the oscillation knob.
4. Plug fan into an electrical outlet.
5. Choose speed desired by depressing one of the buttons. LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any are found, this indicates that 
the appliance should be serviced and the line cord replaced. Please return it to our Service Department or 
to an authorized service representative. 
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue stress on the cord where 
it enters the appliance and cause it to fray and break.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE, OR IF APPLIANCE WORKS
INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.
IMPORTANT:
During the first few minutes of initial use, a slight odor may be noticeable. This is normal and will quickly
disappear.
This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to fix it yourself.
Refer it to qualified service personnel if servicing is needed.
The fan is permanently lubricated and will not require additional lubrication for the life of the fan.
TO CLEAN:Before cleaning, turn fan off and unplug from electrical outlet. Wipe off excess dust with a lint-free
cloth. To ensure adequate air circulation to the motor, keep vents located at the rear of the motor housing free
from dust accumulation. A vacuum cleaner hose can be used to clean these vents. Do not immerse fan in water
or any other liquid.Disassemble grilles and blade. Grilles and blade may be cleaned with mild soap and water.
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the remaining fan parts. Do not allow water or any other liquid to get into
the motor housing or base. Reassemble fan after grilles and blade have dried completely. Do not plug fan into
electrical outlet until it has been fully reassembled.
TO STORE:Make sure to disassemble and clean the fan before storing. Retain the original packaging for the
purpose of storing the fan. Always store fan in a dry place. Never store it while it is still plugged in.Never wrap
the cord tightly around the fan,and do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the fan housing, as it could
cause the cord to fray and break.

INSTRUCCIONES PARA EL ENSAMBLAJE

4. Empuje firmemente la paleta del ventilador en la clavija del eje hasta que se afirme en su lugar y no se 
pueda sacar.
5. Por favor lea la hoja de instrucciones adjunta para detalles sobre el ensamblaje de la parrilla frontal. 
INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
1. Coloque el ventilador en una superficie segura y plana donde no pueda caerse o ser halado por el cable.
2. Antes de enchufarlo, ajuste la direcci—n de la corriente de aire sosteniendo firmemente la base con una mano 
y empujando hacia atr‡s la parrilla para subirlo o empujando hacia adelante para bajarlo.
3. Para hacer oscilar el ventilador, empuje hacia abajo la perilla para la oscilaci—n ubicada en la parte de arriba 
de la caja del motor. Para parar la oscilaci—n del ventilador, tire hacia arriba la perrilla.
4. Enchufe el ventilador en una toma de corriente elŽctrico. 
5. Escoja la velocidad deseada presionando uno de los botones.
Este artefacto requiere poco mantenimiento y no tiene piezas que puedan ser reparadas. No trate de repararlo
usted mismo. Si necesita reparaci—n rem’talo a personas calificadas.
Este ventilador est‡ permanentemente lubricado y no necesitar‡ lubricaci—n adicional.
PARA LIMPIAR:Antes de limpiarlo, apague el ventilador y desenchœfelo. Sacuda el exceso de polvo con un pa–o
libre de pelusas. Para asegurar una adecuada circulaci—n de aire al motor, mantenga los orificios ubicados en la
parte de atr‡s del motor libre de acumulaci—n de polvo. Una aspiradora puede ser usada para limpiar estos orificios.
No sumerja el ventilador en agua o cualquier otro l’quido.Desensamble las parrillas y la aspa. Las parrillas y la
aspa pueden ser limpiadas con agua y jab—n. Use un pa–o suave ligeramente humedecido para limpiar el resto de
las partes del ventilador. No deje que agua o ningœn otro l’quido entre en la caja del motor o la base. Ensamble
nuevamente el ventilador despuŽs que las parrillas y la aspa estŽn completamente secas. No lo enchufe hasta que
no estŽ completamente ensamblado.
PARA GUARDAR:Asegœrese de desensamblar y limpiar el ventilador antes de guardarlo. Guarde la envoltura
original para guardar el ventilador. Siempre gu‡rdelo en un lugar seco. Nunca lo guarde mientras estŽ enchufado.
Nunca envuelva el cable ajustadamente en el ventilador y no ponga presi—n sobre el cable en la parte que entra en
el ventilador, ya que esto podr’a ocasionar que el cable se desgaste y se rompa. 
CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA
