							HOW TO USE
CARE AND CLEANING
This appliance is for household use and may be plugged into a standard electrical outlet.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the fan on a safe, flat surface where it cannot fall or be pulled by the cord.
2. Control the direction of the airflow by firmly holding the fan housing in one hand and loosening the tilt 
ajustment knob with the other. Push the fan grille back to tilt up or push it forward to tilt down. When in 
desired position, tighten the tilt adjustment knob.
3. To make the fan oscillate, push down on the oscillation knob located on the top of the motor housing. To stop 
the fan from oscillating, pull up on the oscillating knob.
4. Plug into an electrical outlet.
5. Slide speed switch to the desired speed.LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any are found, this indicates that the appliance 
should be serviced and the line cord replaced. 
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue stress on the cord where it enters the 
appliance and cause it to fray and break.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE, OR IF APPLIANCE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR
STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.
IMPORTANT:
During the first few minutes of initial use, a slight odor may be noticeable. This is normal and will quickly disappear.This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to fix it yourself. Refer
it to qualified service personnel if servicing is needed.
This fan is permanently lubricated and will not require additional lubrication for the life of the fan.
TO CLEAN:Before cleaning, turn fan off and unplug from electrical outlet. Wipe off excess dust with a lint-free
cloth. To ensure adequate air circulation to the motor, keep vents located at the rear of the motor housing free from
dust accumulation. A vacuum cleaner hose can be used to clean these vents. Do not immerse fan in water or any
other liquid. Do not allow water or any other liquid to get into the motor housing or base.
TO STORE:Be sure to clean fan before storing. Retain the original packaging for the purpose of storing fan. Always
store fan in a dry place. Never store it while it is still plugged in. Never wrap the cord tightly around the fan, and do
not put any stress on the cord where it enters the fan housing, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.

INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
1. Coloque el ventilador en una superficie segura y plana donde no pueda caerse o ser halado por el cable.
2. Controle la direcci—n del aire, sosteniendo firmemente con una mano la caja del ventilador y con la otra aflojando 
la perilla de ajuste de inclinaci—n. Empuje hacia atr‡s la parrilla del ventilador para dirigirlo hacia arriba o hacia 
adelante para dirigirlo hacia abajo. Cuando estŽ en la posici—n deseada, ajuste la perilla.
3. Para hacer oscilar el ventilador, empuje la perilla para la oscilaci—n, ubicada en la parte superior del motor, hacia
abajo. Para parar la oscilaci—n del ventilador, tire la perilla para oscilaci—n hacia arriba.
4. Enchœfelo en una toma de corriente electrica.
5. Deslice el interruptor a la velocidad deseada.
Este artefacto requiere poco mantenimiento y no tiene piezas que puedan ser reparadas. No trate de repararlo
usted mismo. Si necesita reparaci—n rem’talo a personas calificadas.
Este ventilador est‡ permanentemente lubricado y no necesitar‡ lubricaci—n adicional.
PARA LIMPIAR:Antes de limpiarlo, apague el ventilador y desenchœfelo. Sacuda el exceso de polvo con un pa–o
libre de pelusas. Para asegurar una adecuada circulaci—n de aire al motor, mantenga los orificios ubicados en la
parte de atr‡s del motor libre de acumulaci—n de polvo. Una aspiradora puede ser usada para limpiar estos orificios.
No sumerja el ventilador en agua o cualquier otro l’quido. No deje que agua o ningœn otro l’quido entre en el motor o
la base.
PARA GUARDAR:Asegœrese de limpiar el ventilador antes de guardarlo. Guarde la envoltura original para guardar
el ventilador. Siempre gu‡rdelo en un lugar seco. Nunca lo guarde mientras estŽ enchufado. Nunca enrolle el cable
ajustadamente en el ventiladory no ponga presi—n sobre el cable en la parte que entra en la caja del ventilador ya
que esto podr’a ocasionar que el cable se desgaste y se rompa.
CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA
SUGERENCIAS PARA SEGURIDAD CON EL CABLE
1. Nunca hale ni tire del cable ni de la unidad.
2. Para conectar, sujete con firmeza el enchufe y gu’elo dentro de la toma de corriente.
3. Para desconectar, sujete el enchufe y ret’relo de la toma de corriente.
4. Antes de usar el aparato, verifique que el cable no tenga cortaduras ni abrasiones. De ser as’, la unidad debe ser revisada 
y el cable debe ser reemplazado.
5. Nunca enrolle el cable de manera apretada en torno a la unidad, ya que el exceso de presi—n en las uniones del cable con 
la unidad o con el enchufe pueden raerlo o romperlo.

MODE DÕEMPLOI

incliner vers le bas. Serrer le bouton de rŽglage dÕinclinaison quand le ventilateur est dans la position dŽsirŽe.

POUR NETTOYER :
avec un chiffon anti-peluche.  Pour que la circulation dÕair au moteur soit suffisante, ne pas laisser sÕaccumuler la

Žvents. Ne pas tremper dans lÕeau ni dans dÕautres liquides. Ne pas laisser couler de lÕeau ou tout autre liquide
dans le bo”tier du moteur ou dans le socle.
POUR RANGER :Bien nettoyer le ventilateur avant de le ranger. Garder la boite dÕorigine pour ranger le ventilateur.
Toujours ranger dans un endroit sec. Ne jamais ranger si le ventilateur est toujours branchŽ. Ne jamais enrouler le
fil trop Žtroitement autour de lappareil,utiliser le rangement au dos du ventilateur. Ne pas exercer de pression sur

dropped or damaged in any manner.
nDo not let cord hang over table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
nTo disconnect, grip plug and pull from wall outlet. Never yank on cord.
nAlways use on a dry surface, level surface.
nThis product is intended for household use only and not for commercial or industrial use.
nDo not use fan near curtains, plants, window treatments, etc.

control device.POLARIZED PLUG (120V Models Only)This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug fits in a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, reverse the plug and try again. If it still does
