    SDC-25 “3D” LED Projection System
Imagine years of 2D and 3D viewing excellence and never having to endure a fading image,
or change out a projector lamp! The Wolf Cinema SDC-25 “lamp-less” home cinema projector
and cutting-edge ProScaler MK V video processor provides some of today’s most advanced
imaging performances, available anywhere and at any price.
The projector’s light engine and precision optics deliver razor sharp images via its single
1920 x 1080 (1080p) DLP chip set from Texas Instruments. But unlike most other single-chip
projection platforms, the SDC-25 has eliminated the traditional UHP lamp and color wheel:
this projector produces an image via three separate RGB (red, green, blue) high-current light
emitting diodes (LEDs). These LED emitter panels are superbly efficient light sources, with an
extremely wide color gamut that exceeds today’s HD standards by 20%. There’s no color wheel
involved and thus no visible “rainbow” artifacts or light flicker. And best of all is the extended
life of the LED panels: a typical UHP projector lamp must be replaced and recalibrated every
2000-3000 hours or so. The SDC-25’s LED panels are rated to deliver accurate light output for
approximately 20,000 hours of continuous use [normal mode]. The RGB emitter technology is
thus designed to deliver year after year of trouble-free viewing excelle\
    nce, on screens as large
    as 12-ft wide.
This 2D/3D ensemble comes with our all-new ProScaler MK V external video processor – a
rack-mountable video processor that delivers the ultimate in image fidelity, calibration accuracy
and operational flexibility. The ProScaler MK V boasts multiple analog and digital video inputs
for ease of component source selection, while incorporating numerous HD imaging advances:
the remarkable Darbee™ Digital Visual Presence (DVP™) technology for enhanced edge
detail, ultra-deep contrast performance and improved visual depth-of-field; an advanced
CMS control suite for precise color accuracy; and last but not least, our latest technology
wizardry known as E-VariScope™ – the ability to quickly select desired aspect ratios when
enjoying popular TV and film content on constant height, 2.35:1 wide CinemaScope
    ® aspect
ratio screens – and all without the need for an external anamorphic lens [full anamorphic lens
    support is also provided].
The result? A stunningly-bright image with breathtaking color renditions, deep black level
performances and razor-sharp edge detail. The SDC-25 is yet another exciting high-performance
home cinema projection solution from Wolf Cinema. Available early Q1 2014.
