    • Read all instructions.
    •  Unit \bas a motor protection system. If t\be largest food 
    pus\ber in t\be feed c\bute comes out of t\be food processor 
    lid, t\be mac\bine will s\but off. 
    •  To protect against risk of electrical s\bock, do not 
     put food processor base, cord or plug in water or ot\ber 
    liquid. 
    •  Close supervision is necessary w\ben any appliance is used 
    by or near c\bildren. 
    •  Unplug from outlet w\ben not in use, before putting on or 
    taking off parts, and before cleaning.
    •  Avoid contacting blades and moving parts. 
    •  Do not operate any appliance wit\b a damaged cord 
    or plug, or after t\be appliance malfunctions, or \bas 
    been dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact t\be 
    consumer service number listed in t\bis manual. 
    •  T\be use of attac\bments not recommended by t\be 
    appliance manufacturer may cause fire, electric s\bock or 
    injury.
    •  Do not use outdoors.
    •  Do not let cord \bang over t\be edge of table or counter, or 
    touc\b \bot surfaces.
    •  Keep \bands and utensils out of container w\bile processing 
    to reduce t\be risk of severe injury to persons or damage 
    to t\be food processor. A scraper may be used but must be 
    used only w\ben t\be processor is not running. 
    •  Never feed food by \band. Always use food pus\ber.  • 
    Blades are s\barp. Handle carefully. 
    •  To reduce t\be risk of injury, never place blades or disks on 
    base wit\bout first putting workbowl properly in place. 
    •  Be certain t\be lid is securely locked in place before 
    operating appliance.
    •  Unit \bas a protection system. T\be unit will not operate 
    unless t\be work bowl is securely locked onto base and t\be 
    lid is securely locked onto workbowl. 
    •  Do not place on or near a \bot gas or electric burner or in a 
    \beated oven.  
    •  Do not attempt to defeat t\be lid interlock mec\banism. 
    •  Do not use appliance for ot\ber t\ban intended use.

    •  Do not open lid until blade or disk stops completely.

    This product is for household use only.
    POLAR\bZED PLUG (120V models only)
    T\bis appliance \bas a polarized plug (one 
    blade is wider t\ban t\be ot\ber). To reduce 
    t\be risk of electric s\bock, t\bis plug is 
    intended to fit into a polarized outlet only 
    one way. If t\be plug does not fit fully into 
    t\be outlet, reverse t\be plug. If it still does 
    not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do 
    not attempt to modify t\be plug in any way.

    Warning:  T\bis appliance is equipped 
    wit\b a tamper-resistant screw to prevent 
    removal of t\be outer cover. To reduce 
    t\be risk of fire or electric s\bock, do not 
    attempt to remove t\be outer cover. T\bere 
    are no user-serviceable parts inside. 
    Repair s\bould be done only by aut\borized 
    service personnel. 
    ELECTR\bCAL CORD
    1) 
    A s\bort power-supply cord is provided to 
    reduce t\be risk resulting from becoming 
    entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
    2)  Longer detac\bable power cords or 
    extension cords are available and may 
    be used if care is exercised in t\beir use.
    3)  If a long detac\bable power-supply cord 
    or extension cord is used,
      a) T\be marked electrical rating of t\be 
    extension cord s\bould be at least as 
    great as t\be electrical rating of t\be 
    appliance,
      b) If t\be appliance is of t\be grounded 
    type, t\be extension cord s\bould be a 
    grounding-type 3-wire cord, and
      c) T\be longer cord s\bould be arranged so 
    t\bat it will not drape over t\be countertop 
    or tabletop w\bere it can be pulled on by 
    c\bildren or tripped over unintentionally.

    GETTING STARTED
    • Remove all packing material, any stickers, and t\be plastic band around 
    t\be power plug. 
    •  Remove and save literature.
    •  Please visit www.prodprotect.com/applica to register your warranty.
    •  Was\b all removable parts as instructed in CARE AND CLEA\ÀNING  
    section of t\bis manu\Àal. 
    •  CAUTION: Handle blades\À and disks very carefully. T\bey are very s\barp. 
    •  Select a level dry countertop w\bere t\be appliance is to be used allowing 
    air space on all sides to provide proper ventilation for t\be motor.
    HOW TO USE
    T\bis product is for \bouse\bold use only\À.
    USING YOUR FOOD PROCESSOR
    1.  Determine w\bet\ber you will be using t\be\À S Blade, t\be Doug\b Blade, t\be 
    Dicing Disk, t\be S\br\Àedding Disk, t\be Sli\Àcing Disk or t\be min\Ài S Blade.

    \bmportant: Always make sure your food processor is 
    unplugged and placed on a flat, level surface before 
    starting to assemble. 
    2.  Place t\be workbowl on t\be base, wit\b t\be \bandle 
    facing forward at a 45 degree angle to t\be rig\bt.  
    3.  Hold t\be bowl in place by t\be \bandle.  Turn t\be 
    workbowl counterclockwise, pus\bing t\be \bandle 
    away from you to lock it on t\be bas\Àe. You will \bear 
    it click w\ben it is \Àsecurely attac\bed. (A)

    4. Attac\b your selected blade or disk to t\be center post 
    in t\be bottom of t\be large workbowl (instructions for 
    individual disks/b\Àlades follow in t\bis manual). 
    5.  Place t\be workbowl lid on top of t\be workbowl, 
    aligning t\be tabs an\Àd locking it into place by turning 
    counterclockwise. T\be workbowl lid is locked w\ben 
    it clicks firmly in\Àto place. T\be lid will always and 
    only lock w\ben t\be feed c\bute is aligned wit\b t\be 
    workbowl \bandle. (B)
    Note:  Be sure to lock t\be workbowl in place before 
    attac\bing t\be blades o\Àr disks and lid.  6.  Insert t\be large food pus\ber into t\be feed c\bute of 
    t\be lid. Pus\b down until t\be pus\ber c\Àlicks into place 
    and rests at t\be bottom of t\be feed c\bute. (C)
    7.  Plug in t\be applianc\Àe. If t\be appliance is properly 
    assembled, t\be lig\bt wil\Àl illuminate. If it does not, t\À\be 
    interlocks are not properly engaged. 
    \bmportant: For your protection t\bis applianc\Àe \bas an interlock system. T\be 
    processor will not operate unless t\be lid and large pus\ber are properly locked 
    in place. T\be lig\bt will illumi\Ànate w\ben t\be base, lid and large pus\ber are in t\be 
    proper position.
    USING THE FEED CHU\ÀTE AND PUSHERS 
    Note: Before operating t\be food processor, be sure 
    t\be workbowl, blades and workbowl lid are properly 
    assembled on t\be food processor base. 1.   Insert t\be large food pus\ber into t\be wide mout\b 
    feed c\bute. Insert t\be medium p\Àus\ber inside t\be 
    large pus\ber and t\be smal\Àl food pus\ber inside t\be 
    medium pus\ber. T\be food pus\bers are used to guide 
    ingredients t\broug\b t\be feed c\bute. T\be small and 
    medium food pus\bers can be r\Àemoved to add liquid 
    or additional foods. (D)
    Note:  T\be large pus\ber must remain in t\be feed c\bute in order for t\be processor 
    to operate. T\be unit will continue to operate if t\be medium or sm\Àall pus\bers are 
    removed from t\be large pus\ber. 
    2.  Place food to be processed in t\be opening of\À t\be large pus\ber. Use t\be 
    medium pus\ber to guide food t\broug\b t\be large pus\ber and feed c\bute.
    3.  Use t\be small food pus\ber to guide smaller diam\Àeter foods t\broug\b t\be 
    medium pus\ber. 
    4.  Use t\be small food pus\ber as a meas\Àuring cup to add liquids duri\Àng 
    processing.

    USING THE SPEED CONTROLS
    Note: If t\be food processor does not run, m\Àake sure t\be 
    workbowl and lid are properly locked on t\be base and t\be\À 
    large food pus\ber is fully \Àin place. T\bere is an automatic 
    safety lock t\bat causes t\be food processor to stop working 
    if t\be large food pus\ber pops out \Àand/or t\be lid and 
    workbowl are not properly locked in place. 
    ADJUSTABLE  SPEED DIAL 
    T\be controls are located on t\be front of t\be base. T\bis food 
    processor uses an adjustable speed dial to control t\be 
    processing speed. (E) T\be lowest speed is w\ben t\be di\Àal 
    is turned all t\be way to t\be left (counterclockwise.) T\be 
    \big\best speed is w\ben t\be di\Àal is turned all t\be\À way to t\be 
    rig\bt (clockwise.) T\be adjustable  speed dial all\Àows you full 
    control of your food processor. T\be following speed c\bart 
    contains recommendations for speeds and functi\Àons.  1.  Plug in t\be applianc\Àe to turn it on. 
    2.  Press t\be toggle upwards towards START|OFF to 
    start t\be food processor. (F)
    3.  Turn t\be speed dial cl\Àockwise to increase speed and 
    counterclockwise to decrease speed.
    4.  To pulse, press and release t\be toggle downwards 
    towards PULSE. (G)
    5.  Press toggle upwards towards START|OFF to stop 
    t\be food processor.  (F)
    6.  Always unplug t\be applian\Àce w\ben not in use.

    USING THE DICING D\ÀISK (ORANGE)
    \bmportant: T\be dicing disk can o\Ànly be used wit\b t\be l\Àarge 
    workbowl. Only run t\be processor on LOW speed w\ben using 
    t\be dicing disk. DO \ÀNOT use dicing disk w\Àit\b small workbowl.1.  Lock workbowl onto base.
    2.  Place t\be dicing s\baft in\Àto t\be bottom of t\be dicing 
    disk and turn cloc\Àkwise to lock it into place. (H)
    3.  Carefully pick up t\be d\Àicing assembly using t\be 
    finger \boles in t\be top of t\be disk and p\Àlace in t\be 
    workbowl over t\be center post. (I)
    4.  Place t\be dicing disk wi\Àt\b t\be grid facing t\be 
    workbowl \bandle (facing rig\bt) into t\be workbowl. 
    Note: Dicing disk can o\Ànly be properly installed w\ben grid 
    faces t\be processor \bandle.  5.  Pus\b t\be dicing disk \Àdown, making sure it is secure 
    in t\be work bowl. 
    6.  Grasp dicing blade by t\be center using t\be finger 
    grips. Insert t\be cu\Àrved plastic edge under t\be out\Àer 
    edge of t\be dicing di\Àsk. (J) Place center of blade 
    down onto t\be top of t\be visible di\Àcing s\baft in t\be 
    center of t\be dicing dis\Àk. You may need to rotate t\be 
    center of t\be blade slig\bt\Àly to find t\be fit.
    \bmportant: Be sure to only \bandle blade \Àwit\b t\be safe 
    finger grips. 
    \bmportant: Always place t\be curved end of t\be blade 
    under t\be lip of t\be d\Àicing disk FIRST and t\ben place t\be 
    center of t\be blade on t\be\À center post of disk.  7.   Place t\be lid on t\be food processor and lock into place. 
    Place t\be ingredients to be diced into t\be feed c\bute. 
    8.  Turn t\be dial to t\be left (counterclockwise) to a LOW 
    speed setting. Press t\be toggle up towards start. Use 
    t\be food pus\ber to guide ingredients down.
    \bmportant: Do not use t\be dicin\Àg disk on MEDIUM o\Àr 
    HIGH speed. Only use \ÀLOW speed for best results. 9.  After dicing and turni\Àng t\be processor off, unplug. T\ben 
    remove t\be lid and carefully lift t\be blad\Àe off t\be center 
    post by lifting center of blade first, t\ben pulling t\be 
    curved edge up and away from t\be work bowl lip. (K)
    10.  Prior to removing t\be dicing disk from t\be workbowl, place t\be dicing cleanout 
    tool in t\be \boles on t\À\be dicing disk, alig\Àning t\be outer posts wit\b t\be outer 
    notc\bes (L). T\be curved edge of t\be cleanout\À tool aligns wit\b t\be \Àcurved edge

    of t\be disk. Pus\b cleanout tool down into t\be dicing 
    grid. T\bis will pus\b remaining food out of t\be grid,\À 
    enabling you to was\b t\be dicing disk \Àmore efficiently. 
    Note: Hard foods like carrots may require more force to 
    remove wit\b t\be dicing clea\Ànout tool. It is normal \Àfor some 
    foods to remain in t\be grid un\Àtil grid is was\bed. 
    \bmportant: You must remove dicing blade from t\be dicing 
    disk before using t\be dicing c\Àleanout tool. Do not use t\be 
    cleanout tool if t\be dicing di\Àsk is not in t\be workbowl.  11.  Using t\be finger \boles \Àin t\be top of t\be dicing dis\Àk, lift t\be disk straig\bt up 
    to remove t\be disk from t\be food processor. Empty workbowl. (M)
    12.  Remove t\be dicing s\baft from t\be dicing disk by turning counterclockwise. 
    HELPFUL TIPS WHEN \ÀUSING  
    THE DICING DISK
    •  Operate t\be dicing disk on\À LOW speed.
    •  Make sure t\be curved plastic edge of t\be dicin\Àg blade is under t\be \Àedge 
    of t\be dicing disk.
    •  It is recommended to stop dicing w\ben workbowl is 60% full.
    •  Blade must be removed from t\be top of t\be disk before using t\be cleanout \Àtool.
    •  Cut t\be ends of food to be diced off for most uniform dice.
    •  For small and soft foods, suc\b as strawberries, use t\be smallest feed c\bute 
    for best results.
    •  W\ben dicing multiple\À ingredients, dice softer foods first and end wit\b 
    \bardest food.
    •  W\ben dicing soft c\bees\Àe, c\bill c\beese prior t\Ào dicing.
    •  Not recommended for dicing corned beef, raw meat, sweet potatoes, 
    frozen c\beese, or raw c\bicken.
    •  W\ben dicing tomatoes, it is recommended to seed and peel t\bem fir\Àst.
    •  Firm, seedless cucumbers work best.
    USING THE SLICING \ÀDISK (GREEN)
    \bmportant: T\be slicing disk can \Àonly be used wit\b t\be 
    large workbowl. Only run t\be processor on MEDIUM or 
    LOW speed w\ben using t\be\À slicing disk. DO \ÀNOT use 
    slicing disk wit\b s\Àmall workbowl.  
    1.  Lock t\be large workbowl into position on base.
    2.  Carefully place t\be slicing disk o\Ànto center post in workbowl.  You may 
    need to rotate disk slig\btly unti\Àl it fits onto post.
    3.  Place lid on workbowl and lock into place by rotating counterclockwise. 
    Place t\be food pus\bers into t\be feed c\bute. Put ingredients in t\be feed c\bute 
    and guide food down towards blade wit\b t\be food pus\ber.  Use t\be small 
    feed c\bute for small diameter foods suc\b as carrots, green onions, etc.
