    S7A MK2 Manual / English
\bll \bD\bM products are designed and \fanufactured to the highest quality
standards. However, if any proble\fs with your speaker occur, we reco\f-
    \fend to proceed as follows:
    5.1
Problem: The LED shows nor\fal operation (green) but there is either
    no or onl\f a di\btorted audio \bignal.
If both (all) speakers are affected, the reason can probably be found
within the signal path. If only one speaker is affected, the proble\f will
    probably be within this speaker.
    a) Check the wiring.
Is the cable defective? \bre all cables connec\nted correctly?
    \f) Check the signal path.
Interchange the cables of both loudspeakers. Does the proble\f change
    with one of the cables?
Connect the \fonitor as directly to the signal source as possible
(please \find the volu\fe!). Is another part of the signal path (e.g.
    \fixer, subwoofer) defective?
If the answer to all these questions is ‘no’, the proble\f is being cause\nd
by the loudspeaker with the ut\fost probability.
If the answer to at least one of these questions is ‘yes’, there will prob-
ably be another defective device within the signal path.
    5.2 Problem: You hear para\bitic noi\be\b (like hu\f\fing, buzzing, so\nughing,
    cracking).
    Please disconnect t\nhe signal cables.
If the noises disappear\n, check the signal path.
If the noises can still be heard, check for other electrical devices
close to the speakers (\fobile phones, s\nwitching power supplies, etc.).
If there is no interfering device the speaker will probably cause the
    proble\f.
    5. Trou\fleshooting

    							12
Please switch the loudspeaker off before cleaning!
Please note that the diaphrag\fs build up a \fagne\ntic field. Do not pl\ny with \fag-
netic ite\fs at close range to the diaphrag\fs.
Please \fake sure that no liquids get inside the cabinet. Do not \nspray any fluids
on the speaker. Do not use a wet cloth for cleaning.
Do not use fla\f\fable \nor acidic che\ficals for cleaning.
Do not touch the \fe\fbranes of the loudspeakers.
    We reco\f\fend using a lint\n-free, da\fp cloth for cleaning.
The loudspeaker \fe\fbranes \fay be dusted using a very soft brush.
    7. Shipping / Packaging
In case you have to send your speakers to any other location, it is\n of vital i\fportance
that you use the original packaging \faterials. Experience \nhas shown that it is very dif-
ficult to avoid da\fage if you have to send the\f without these. \bD\bM \budio can not be
held responsible for da\fages due to i\fproper packaging.
If a transport is necessary and the original shipping\n carton is not available, a new one
    can be purchased fro\f \bD\bM \budio.
    8. Environmental Information
\bll \bD\bM products co\fply with international directives on the Restriction of Hazard-
ous Substances (RoHS) in electrical \n/ electronical equip\fent and the disposal of
    Waste Electrical / Ele\nctronic Equip\fent (WEEE).
For disposal, pleas\ne consult your local authorities for further infor\fation.
