GeneralInformation ExitDelay AlertingSound ENTRY/EXITDELAYS Yoursystemhaspresettimedelays,knownasexitdelayandentrydelay.When youarmyoursystem,exitdelaygivesyoutimetoleavethroughtheentry/exit doorwithoutsettingoffanalarm.Entrydelaygivesyoutimetodisarmthe systemwhenyoureenterthroughtheentry/exitdoor.Thesystemmustbe disarmed,however,beforetheentrydelayperiodends,oranalarmwilloccur. Theconsolewillbeepslowlyduringtheentrydelayperiod,remindingyouto disarmthesystem, YoucanalsoarmthesystemwithnoentrydelayatallbyusingeitherINSTANT orMAXIMUMarmingmodes.These modescanprovidegreatersecuritywhile youaresleepingorwhile youareawayforextendedperiodsoftime. CHECKINGFOROPENZONES UsingtheBeforearmingyoursystem,allprotecteddoors,windowsandotherprotection qREADYKeyzonesmustbeclosedorbypassed(see13YPASS//VGPROTECT/ONZONES section),otherwisetheconsolewilldisplaya“NotReady”message,andifyour consolehasaREADYindicatorlight,itwillnotbelit..TheREADY(~)keycan beusedtodisplayallfaultedzones,makingiteasierforyoutosecureanyopen zone.
