11 D GR NL F GB 1. Vor der Reinigung immer den Netzstecker des Geräts ziehen. Wischen Sie die Außenseite des Kessels mit einem feuchten Tuch ab. Spülen Sie den Kessel zwischendurch mit sauberem Wasser aus. Warnhinweis! Gehäuse, Netzstecker und Kabel niemals in Wasser oder eine andere Flüssigkeit eintauchen. 3. Für ein optimales Ergebnis wird eine Entkalkung alle drei Monate empfohlen. Den Wasserkocher der Produktanleitung entsprechend mit Wasser und Entkalker füllen. Die Lösung nicht kochen lassen, da sie überschäumen könnte. Danach den Wasserkocher gründlich mit frischem Wasser ausspülen. 2. Ziehen Sie den Siebfilter nach oben heraus, um ihn zu reinigen. Reinigen Sie ihn unter sauberem fließendem Wasser und setzen Sie ihn wieder richtig herum in den Kessel ein. Reinigen der Bodenplatte - Das Metall der Bodenplatte kann mit einem Edelstahlreiniger gesäubert werden. Reinigung und Pflege / 1. Avant toute opération de nettoyage, débranchez toujours l'appareil. 16 GB Read the following instruction carefully before using the appliance for the first time. • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. • Children shall not play with the appliance. • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. • Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years. • The appliance may only be connected to a power supply whose voltage and frequency comply with the specifications on the rating plate! • Never use or pick up the appliance if – the supply cord is damaged, – the housing is damaged. • The appliance must only be connected to an earthed socket. If necessary an extension cable suitable for 10 A can be used. • If the appliance or the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified person, in order to avoid hazard. • Always place the appliance on a flat, level surface. • Never leave the appliance unattended while connected to the supply mains. • The appliance must be switched off and the mains plug withdrawn each time after use, before cleaning and maintenance. • The appliance and accessories become hot during operation. Use only designated handles and knobs. Allow to cool down before cleaning or storage. • The mains cable must not come into contact with any hot parts of the appliance. • Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. • Always keep enough water on the minimum water level. • Attention: If the kettle is overfilled there is a risk that the boiling water may spray out, which could scald or burn! Therefore never fill the kettle above the maximum marking. • Never operate appliance with open lid. • Do not use or place the appliance on a hot surface or near source of heat. • Only use the kettle for heating water! • The kettle can only be used with the stand provided. • While water boiling, avoid contacting with steam from the spout when water is boiling or just after it has switched off. Do not be anxious to uncover the lid. • This appliance is intended for domestic use only. The manufacturer cannot accept any liability for possible damage caused by improper or incorrect use.
17 D GR NL F GB GB 2. Place the base unit on a firm and flat surface. Plug the mains plug into a wall socket. Redundant cord can be wound up at the bottom of base unit. 1. Before first use: Boil water in the kettle and pour it out. Repeat for 2 or 3 times. This will remove any remaning dust or residues. (See the following steps on how to use the kettle). Wipe the outside of the kettle with a damp cloth. 3. Press the Open lid button to open the lid. Fill the kettle with fresh tap water to the desired level (Min. 0.5L - Max.1.7L). Getting started 5. Press the Start/Cancel button to start or stop boiling water. (One short beep will sound) Note: Press and hold the Start/Cancel button longer to enter energy saving mode (LCD turned off ). (One long beep will sound) When the boiling process is finished, two short beep followed by one long beep sound will sound. 4. Close the lid and make sure that it snaps in correctly. Otherwise, the auto switch off function will not work reliably. Place the kettle on the base. The LCD display will be illuminated, (followed by one long beep sound), to indicate that the appliance is plugged in. The appliance is now in standby mode. 6. The automatic switch off function. When the water has boiled or the kettle is moved from the base, it will switch off automatically. If you wish to stop the heating process before the water is boiling, simply press the Start/Cancel button.
18 GB 1. Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance. Wipe the outside of the kettle with a damp cloth. Occasionally rinse out the kettle with clean water. Warning! Never immerse the housing, plug, and cord in water or any other fluid. 3. Decalcifying is recommended every three months for best performance. Fill the kettle with water and decalcifyer according to decalcifyer product instructions. Do not boil the solution as it could foam over. Afterwards, rinse kettle thorougly with fresh water. 2. To clean the mesh filter, grab the mesh filter and lift it out. Rinse under clean, running water, and insert it back into the kettle in the correct orientation. Cleaning the base plate – a stainless steel cleaning product may be used to clean the metal of the base plate. Cleaning and Care 8. Press the 1-Cup Turbo button to boil one cup of water (max 200 ml) in less than 60 seconds. The setting will cancel the temperature set by the Preset button. The default temperature for the 1-Cup Turbo button is 100 °C. Note: This setting only allows to boil less water than required by the minimum water level (0.5L). The 1-Cup Turbo function can boil max 200 ml of water at 20° C temperature in less than 60 seconds.7. Press the Preset button (A) and repeat to set a specific temperature (50 - 100 °C). Depending on the temperature set, the indicator for the recommended beverage (Coffee, White Tea, Oolong Tea, Green Tea) will appear on the LCD display. Press the Start/Cancel button (B) to start boiling water. Note: One short beep will sound when a button is pressed. 9. Press the Keep warm button (A), then press the Start/Cancel button (B), to start boiling water. Once the water has reached the preset temperature the appliance will enter the keep warm mode, keeping the water at the preset temperature for 40 min without reboiling it. CAUTION: Keep enough water on the minimum water level (0.5L). Note: If the Preset temperature is set to 100 °C, the keep warm function will be unavailable. Getting started B AA B

The appliance does not switch off. Close lid until it locks. Instert the strainer correctly. The appliance cannot be switched on. After operating with little or no water, the appliance has not cooled down sufficiently. Allow to cool a short time and try again. Disposal Recycle the materials with the symbol .
