    							8.  La garantie ne sapplique pas pour les défectuosités, dues au transport,
    survenues en dehors de notre responsabilité. Celles causées par une
    installation ou un montage inadéquat, par un manque dentretien, ou par le
    non-respect des indications de montage et dutilisation, ne seront pas
    davantage couvertes par la garantie.
    9.  Ne sont pas couvertes par la garantie, les défectuosités qui proviennent de
    réparations ou d interventions pratiquées par des personnes non qualifiées
    ou incompétentes, ou qui ont pour cause ladjonction daccessoires ou de
    pièces de rechange non dorigine.
    10. Les appareils aisément transportables doivent être délivrés ou envoyés au
    service clientèle. Les interventions à domicile ne peuvent sentrevoir que pour
    des appareils volumineux ou pour des appareils encastrables.
    11. Si des appareils sont encastrés, sous-encastrés, fixés ou suspendus de
    tellesorte que le retrait et la remise en place de ceux-ci dans leur
    nichedencastrement prennent plus dune demi-heure, les frais de prestation
    qui endécoulent seront portés en compte. Les dommages connexes causés par
    cesopérations de retrait et de remise en place sont à charge de lutilisateur.
    12. Si au cours de la période de garantie, la réparation répétée dune même
    défectuosité nest pas concluante, ou si les frais de réparations sont jugés
    disproportionnés, le remplacement de lappareil défectueux par un autre de
    même valeur peut être accompli en concertation avec le consommateur. Dans
    ce cas nous nous réservons le droit de réclamer une participation financière
    calculée au prorata de la période dutilisation écoulée.
    13. La réparation sous garantie nentraîne pas de prolongation de la
    périodenormale de garantie, ni le départ dun nouveau cycle de garantie.
    14. Nous octroyons une garantie de douze mois sur les réparations, limitée à
    lamême défectuosité.
    15. Hormis les cas où une responsabilité est imposée légalement, cette
    déclaration de conditions de garantie exclut toute indemnisation de
    dommages extérieurs à lappareil dont le consommateur voudrait faire
    prévaloir les droits. Dans le cas dune responsabilité reconnue légalement, la
    compensation nexcèdera pas la valeur dachat de lappareil.
    Ces conditions de garantie sont valables uniquement pour des appareils
    achetés etutilisés en Belgique. Pour les appareils exportés, lutilisateur doit
    dabord sassurer quils satisfont aux conditions techniques (p. ex. : la tension,
    la fréquence, les prescriptions dinstallation, le type de gaz, etc.) pour le pays
    concerné, et quils supportent les conditions climatiques et
    environnementales locales. Pour les appareils achetés à létranger, lutilisateur
    doit dabord sassurer qu ils répondent bien aux qualifications requises en
    Belgique. Des adaptations indispensables ou souhaitées ne sont pas couvertes

    GARANTIE EUROPEENNE
    Cet appareil est garanti par Electrolux dans chacun des pays énumérés au dos de
    cette notice et pour la période spécifiée par la garantie ou, à défaut, par la légis-
    lation en vigueur. Si vous déménagez dun pays dans un autre pays repris dans la
    liste, la garantie déménagera avec vous dans les conditions suivantes: 
    La garantie commence à la date à laquelle lappareil a effectivement été acheté à
    lorigine telle quelle apparaîtra sur production dun document dachat valable
    délivré par le vendeur de lappareil.
    La garantie est valable pour la même période et couvre le remplacement de piè-
    ces détachées et la main-doeuvre dans les mêmes conditions que celles prévues
    pour votre nouveau pays de résidence pour le type de modèle ou la gamme dap-
    pareils particuliers. 
    La garantie de lappareil est exclusivement reconnue à lacheteur dorigine et ne
    peut être cédée à un autre utilisateur de lappareil.
    Lappareil devra être installé et utilisé conformément aux instructions fournies
    par Electrolux, lusage étant limité à des applications ménagères et à des fins non
    commerciales.
    Lappareil sera installé conformément à toutes les prescriptions et législations en
    vigueur dans votre nouveau pays de résidence.
    Les dispositions de cette garantie européenne naffecte en aucune manière les
    droits qui vous sont reconnus par la loi.

    Safety information
    Prior to using for the first time
    • The safety of AEG/ELECTROLUX appliances complies with the industry
    standards and with legal requirements on the safety of appliances. However,
    as manufacturers, we feel it is our duty to provide the following safety notes.
    You MUSTread them carefully before installing or using the appliance.
     It is most important that this instruction book should be retained with the
    appliance for future reference. Should the appliance be sold or transferred to
    another owner, or should you move house and leave the appliance, always
    ensure that the book is supplied with the appliance in order that the new
    owner can get to know the functioning of the appliance and the relevant
    warnings.
     You MUST read them carefully before installing or using the appliance.
     Before first starting up, check the machine for any damage incurred during
    transport. Never connect up a damaged machine. If parts are damaged,
    contact your supplier.
     If the appliance is delivered in the winter months when there are minus
    temperatures: Store the washing machine at room temperature for 24 hours
    before using for the first time.
    General safety
    It is dangerous to alter the specifications or attempt to modify this product in
    any way.
    During high temperature wash programmes the door glass may get hot. Do
    not touch it!
    Make sure that small pets do not climb into the drum. To avoid this, please
    check into the drum before using.
    Any objects such as coins, safety pins, nails, screws, stones or any other hard,
    sharp material can cause extensive damage and must not be placed into the
    machine.
    Only use the advised quantities of fabric softener and detergent. Damage to
    the fabric can ensue if you over-fill. Refer to the manufacturer’s
    recommendations of quantities.

    Wash small items such as socks, laces, washable belts etc in a washing bag or
    pillow case as it is possible for such items to slip down between the tub and
    the inner drum.
    Do not use your washing machine to wash articles with whalebones, material
    without hems or torn material.
    Always unplug the appliance and turn off the water supply after use, clean
    and maintenance.
    This appliance is provided with a white drum light. It is class 1, in accordance
    with IEC 60825-1:1993 + A1:1997 + A2:2001 standard. Should the appliance
    drum light need to be replaced, this must be carried out by a Service Centre.
    Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair the machine yourself.
    Repairs carried out by inexperienced persons may cause injury or serious
    malfunctioning. Contact your local Service Centre. Always insist on genuine
    spare parts.
    Installation
    This appliance is designed for domestic use. It must not be used for purposes
    other than those for which it was designed.
    When unpacking the appliance, check that it is not damaged. If in doubt, do
    not use it and contact the Service Centre.
    All packing and transit bolts must be removed before use. Serious damage can
    occur to the product and to property if this is not adhered to. See relevant
    section in the user manual.
    After having installed the appliance, check that it is not pressing or standing on
    its electrical supply cable, inlet hose and drain hose.
    If the machine is situated on a carpeted floor, please adjust the feet in order to
    allow air to circulate freely
    Always be sure, that there is no water leakage from hoses and their connections
    after the installation.
    If the appliance is installed in a location subject to frost, please read the

    Any plumbing work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a
    qualified plumber or competent person.
    Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a
    qualified electrician or competent person.

    							Use
    This appliance is designed for domestic use. It must not be used for purposes
    other than those for which it was designed.
    Only wash fabrics which are designed to be machine washed. Follow the
    instructions on each garment label.
    Do not overload the appliance. See the relevant section in the user manual.
    Before washing, ensure that all pockets are empty and buttons and zips are
    fastened. Avoid washing frayed or torn articles and treat stains such as paint,
    ink, rust, and grass before washing. Underwired bras must NOT be machine
    washed.
    Garments which have been in contact with volatile petroleum products should
    not be machine washed. If volatile cleaning fluids are used, care should be
    taken to ensure that the fluid is removed from the garment before placing in
    the machine.
    Never pull the power supply cable to remove the plug from the socket; always
    take hold of the plug itself.
    Never use the washing machine if the power supply cable, the control panel,
    the working surface or the base are damaged so that the inside of the washing
    machine is accessible.
    Child Safety
    This appliance is not intended for use by person (including children) with
    reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
    knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
    use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. 
    This washing machine is not intended for use by young children or infirm
    persons without supervision. 
    Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
    appliance.
    The packaging components (e.g. plastic film, polystyrene) can be dangerous to
    children - danger of suffocation! Keep them out of children’s reach.
    Keep all detergents in a safe place out of children’s reach.
