Remove the Lever Handle Spring (HW571) and set aside. A new spring will be substituted during reassembly (step 7). 1. With outside housing removed from door, unscrew two screws and remove the Spring Cover Plate (HW565) as shown. 3. Remove Connector Plate (HW570). 5. Insert Plastic Ring (HW573). 4. Remove Lever Connector (HW572). 8. Replace the Spring Cover Plate (HW565) and secure with two screws. APPLICABLE MODELS DL2700 DL3000 PDL3000 DL4100 PDL4100 DL2800 Spring Cover Plate (HW565) Screws (2) Connector Plate (HW570) Lever Connector (HW572) Outside Housing Lever Handle Spring Old Spring (HW571) New Spring (HW1220) Plastic Ring (HW573) Spring Cover Plate Lever Connector 6. Replace Lever Connector (HW572) and Connector Plate (HW570). 7. Install new Lever Handle Spring (HW1220) in place of old spring (HW751). Do not re-use spring Connector Plate New Plastic Ring Connector Plate (HW570) Lever Connector (HW572) New Lever Handle Spring (HW1220)
