Locating the EEE Code To locate the EEE code on the AirPort Extreme card, remove the card from the logic board. Turn the card over, and look for the representative EEE code within the card’s serial number. Locate the last four digits in the serial number. Drop the last digit (in this case, the letter “A”). The EEE code is the next three digits. In this case it’s “VZL”, shown below.
