MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2008) Take Apart — Left Speaker 202 2010-06-15 Removal 1 Disconnect the speaker cable from logic board. 2 Disconnect microphone cable from the connector on top side of logic board.

If the MagSafe port is off center, the cable will not plug in securely, and you must reinstall the MagSafe board.
