    beginstopumpwateroutandshutsoffthe
    waterintake.Ifthewaterlevelhasnot
    droppedwithin60seconds,theprogramis
    terminated.
    Transport/Winterstorage
    Ifthemachineistobetransportedorstored
    inunheatedpremiseswherethetemperature
    canfallbelowfreezing,doasfollows:
    •Emptythefilteranddrainagepump(see

    •Shutoffthewatertothewashingmachine,
    loosenthesupplyhosetotheintakevalve
    andletthewaterrunoutfromthevalveand
    hose.
    Recycling

    Automaticdooropening
    Themachinecomeswithanautomaticdoor
    openingfunction,whichmeansthatthedoor
    opensautomaticallyoncetheprogramhas
    finished.
    Ifyouwishtopreventsmallchildrenorpets
    fromclimbingintothemachine,youcan
    deactivatetheautomaticdooropening
    function.
    1.Turnoffthemachineusingthemainpower
    switch.
    2.PresstheDoorOpenbuttonwhile
    simultaneouslypressingthemainpower
    switch.Releasethebuttons.
    3.PresstheKeybuttonandtheredfieldgoes
    out.Automaticdooropeningisnow
    deactivated.
    4.PresstheStart/Stopbuttontosavethe
    setting.
    Ifyouwanttoreactivatethefunction,follow
    theinstructionsabove,butwhenyoupress
    theKeybutton(point3)theredfieldslightup.

    thecolourwillrun.Usedetergentwithout

    Unbleachedlinen
    Unbleachedlinenfabricsshouldbewashed
    at60°C,usingdetergentcontainingnobleach
    oropticalwhiteners.Heavily-soiledlinencan
    occasionallybewashedathigher
    temperatures,butnottoooftenbecausethe
    heatcandestroythelinen’sshineand
    strength.
    Woolandsilk
    Thesefabricsaresometimeslabelledas
    machinewashableandsometimesashand
    wash.Themachine'sWool/Handprogramis
    justasgentleaswashingbyhand.
    Woolisespeciallysensitivetoprocessessuch
    aswashing.
    Ifyoudonotwishtospindry,youcan
    squeezeoutthewaterusingterrytowels.In
    thiscaseselectNospin.
    Tofindouthowtoselectthissetting,seethe
    “Washing”chapter.However,mostitemscan
    withstandashortspin.Selectshortspinby
    selectingaspinspeedbelow800rpm.
    Artificialfibresandsyntheticfibres
    Thesematerialsrequireplentyofroomto
    preventthemfromgettingcreased.Onlyfill
    thedrumhalffullwhenwashingartificialor
    syntheticfibres.Chooseashortspinby
    selectingaspinspeedof800rpmorless.
    Note!
    Viscoseandacetatesarefragilewhenwet.
    Reducingallergicreactions
    ThewashingmachinehasaSuperRinse
    option.Usethisforpeoplewithsensitiveskin,
    suchasthosewithallergiesandsmall
    children.
    Savetimeandenergy
    UsetheWhiteprogramtosavetimeand
    energy.Thisprogramhasashortermain
    washthanHeavywhitewash,butitisoften
    longenoughfornormallysoiledlaundry.
    Highwaterlevel
    Ifyouwantmorewaterforthemainwashand
    rinses,youcanusetheHighwaterlevel
    option.Thisisautomaticallyselectedinthe
    Wool/Handprogram.
    Economyandeffciency
    Youcansaveenergybynotusinghigher
    temperatureprogramsthannecessary.
    •SelectQuickifyoujustneedtofreshenup
    shirtsorsportsclothes,forexample.This
    willsavebothwaterandenergy.
    •Ifyouselectafastspinspeed,thisreduces
    energyconsumptionwhendryingina
    tumbledryerordryingcabinet.
    •Alwayswashwithafullyloadedmachine
    whenyouusetheHeavywash,Heavy
    white,ColourandWhiteprograms!
    •Avoidwashingwithpre-wash.Modern
    machinesanddetergentscleanwithout
    pre-wash.Onlyveryheavilysoiledlaundry
    suchasoverallsandsimilargarmentsare
    likelytoneedapre-wash.
