After powerin\b on th\&e phone, when the 
name of the network \&is displayed on the\& 
screen, the phone i\&s in idle mode and \&ready 
for use. The displ\&ay has 4 areas:

Use the keypad lock\& to prevent the keys\& from 
bein\b pressed accid\&entally.

To lock the keypad a\&utomatically, from 
idle mode, press th\&e Ri\bht Soft Key for 
Menu, then select Settin\bs > Phone 
> Auto key\buard. Select 5s, \f0s, \f5s, 
30s, or 60s auto keylock to se\&t the 
keypad. These indi\&cate the delay befo\&re 
the keypad is locke\&d.
