							Change your route preferencesYou can change your route preferences while viewing or listening to turn-by-turn directions in BlackBerry Maps. You can setyour route to avoid toll roads, highways, car-sharing lanes, or ferries. You can also set the type of route that you want to take
(fastest, simplest, or shortest).
1. In the Maps app, swipe down from the top of the screen.
2.Tap  >  Route Options .
3. Turn on the switches for the types of things that you want to avoid. Tap the type of route that you want to take.
Recalculate routes While viewing or listening to turn-by-turn directions, you can manually recalculate your directions when you make a wrong
turn or would like alternative directions.

Change default route settings
If you always want BlackBerry Maps to show you the fastest or shortest route, or want to avoid certain things on your route, such as highways, toll roads, car-sharing lanes, or ferries, you can change your default settings.

Switch between voice-guided prompts and tones
BlackBerry Maps can prompt you about upcoming turns using voice directions or tones.
