Thank you for purchasing a Canon product.
The EOS 30D is a high-performance, digital AF SLR camera with a 
large, fine-detail, 8.20-megapixel CMOS sensor. The camera has nine 
high-precision AF points, and it is co mpatible with all Canon EF lenses 
(including the EF-S lenses). Desi gned for quick shooting at all times, 
the camera has many features for all types of shooting from fully 
automatic snapshooting to creative work.

Camera Care This camera is a precision instrument. Do  not drop it or subject it to physical 
shock.
  The camera is not waterproof and cannot be used underwater. If you 
accidentally drop the camera into wa ter, promptly consult your nearest 
Canon Service Center. Wipe off any water droplets with a dry cloth. If the 
camera has been exposed to salty air, wipe with a well-wrung wet cloth.
