    17.Disengageallclutchleversandstopenginebeforeyou 
    leavetheoperatingposition(behindthehandles).Wait 
    untiltheauger/impellercomestoacompletestopbefore 
    uncloggingthedischargechute,makingany

    2.Releasethecontrol.Thecableshouldbestraight. 
    Makecertainyoucandepresstheaugercontrol 
    againstthelefthandlecompletely. 
    ,_WARNING:Donotover-tightenthecable.  Over-tighteningmaypreventtheaugerfrom 
    disengagingandcompromisethesafetyofthe 
    snowthrower. 
    3.Inawell-ventilatedarea,startthesnowthrower 
    engineasinstructedearlierinthissectionunderthe 
    headingStartingEngine.Makesurethethrottleisset 
    intheFASTposition. 
    4.Whilestandingintheoperatorsposition(behind 
    thesnowthrower)engagetheauger. 
    5.Allowtheaugertoremainengagedfor 
    approximatelyten(10)secondsbeforereleasing 
    theaugercontrol.Repeatthisseveraltimes. 6.WiththeenginerunningintheFASTpositionand 
    theaugercontrolinthedisengagedupposition, 
    walktothefrontofthemachine. 
    7.Confirmthattheaugerhascompletelystopped 
    rotatingandshowsNOsignsofmotion. 
    IMPORTANT:IftheaugershowsANYsignsofrotating, 
    immediatelyreturntotheoperatorspositionandshut 
    offtheengine.Waitforallmovingpartstostopbefore 
    readjustingtheaugercontrolcable. 
    8.Ifadjustmentisnecessary,loosenthejamnutand 
    threadthecablein(forlessslack)orout(formore
