    2-1. Settin\f Screen Res\aolution
    Compatible Resolutions/Frequ\aencies
    For details on compa\ltible resolutions, refer to “Compatible Resolutions/Frequencies” in the Setup 
    Manual.
    Settin\f Resolution
    When \fou connect the mon\litor to the PC and\l find that the reso\llution is improper, or when \fou want to 
    change the resoluti\lon, follow the procedure bel\low. When using video e\lditing equipment, \lrefer to the 
    instruction manual for the equipment.
    Windows Vista
    1. Right-click the mouse an\fwhere on the deskt\lop except for icons.

     rom the displa\fed menu, click “Personalize”.

    “Personalization” window, click “Displa\f Settings”.

    -  The input signal is\l 1080i and the sca\ln t\fpe on the  menu is set to “\bnterlace”.
    -  The input signal is\l 1080i and the  menu is set to “Auto” (default setting).

    Adjustin\f Sharpness
    Emphasizes the outline of t\lhe image b\f emphasizing the c\lolor difference 
    between the pixels composing the i\lmage and to improve a sense of qualit\l\f and 
    materialit\f.

    Adjustin\f Displa\b Area
    The displa\f area can be moved when using a 204\l8-b\f-1080 input signal\l.

    Selectin\f Effective Bits for a 12-Bit Si\fnal
    This function selec\lts the effective bits for displa\fing a 12-bit signa\ll. 
    [11:2]: Displa\fs a signal formed b\f the upper 10 bits\l. (Default setting) 
    [9:0]: Displa\fs a signal formed b\f the lower 10 bits.

    2-3. Displa\bin\f Screen Correct\al\b (Analo\f Input Onl\b)

    The monitor displa\fs the digital inpu\lt image correctl\f b\lased on its pre-se\ltting data.
    The monitor screen\l adjustment is use\ld to suppress flickering of the screen \lor adjust screen p\losition 
    and screen size correctl\f accordi\lng to the PC to be\l used. 
    To use the monitor \lcomfortabl\f, adjust the scree\ln when the monitor \lis set up for the first time o\lr when 
    the settings of th\le PC in use are up\ldated. 
    Adjustment Procedure
    1 Perform the auto screen\a adjustment.
    1. From the  m\lenu on the Adjustmen\lt menu, select .

    The Auto Adjustment fun\lction begins (showing a running status icon\l) to adjust flickering, 
    screen position, a\lnd screen size automaticall\f.

     The A
    
    uto Adjustment fun\lction is intended \lfor use on the Maci\lntosh and on AT-compatible PC 
    running Windows. \bt does not work properl\f when an image is \ldispla\fed onl\f on a part of the 
    screen (command pr\lompt window, for example) or when a b\llack background (wallpaper, etc.) 
    is in use.
    •
     
    \bt cannot w
     ork correctl\f using wi\lth some graphics cards.
    \bf the screen is no\lt displa\fed correctl\f after \lperforming step 1, follow the steps below to adjust the scr\leen.  
    \bf the appropriate screen can be\l made, proceed to 5. Range Adjustment.
    2 Prepare the displa \b pattern for the analo\f displa\a\b adjustment.

    1. Load the  “E\bZO LCD Utilit\f Dis\lk” to \four PC.

    2. Adjusting Screen(3) The screen positio\ln is incorrect. 
     Use the  adjustmen\lt.
    The correct displa\fed position of the\l monitor is decide\ld because the number and the posi\ltion 
    of the pixels are fixed. The  adjustmen\lt moves the image to th\le correct position\l.
     
    Select  and use 
     to adjust the pos\lition so that the \lentire image is 
    displa\fed. \bf vertical bars of disto\lrtion appear after \lfinishing the  adjustmen\lt, return 
    to  adjustment and \lrepeat the previousl\f explained adjustment\l procedure. (“Clock” => 
    “Phase” => “Position”)
    (4) Screen image i\ls smaller or larger \lthan the actual scr\leen images. 
      Use the  adjustment.
    Adjustment is need\led when the input s\lignal resolution an\ld the resolution no\lw being displa\fed 
    are different.  
    Select \l and confirm if the resolution\l now being displa\fed is the same as \lthe 
    input resolution. \bf it is not, adju\lst the vertical resolution us\ling

    Simple Adjustment (\aSwitchin\f Color Mode)
    Changing the color \lmode enables \fou to set the moni\ltor to the appropr\liate displa\f mode.

    Color settings of e\lach Color mode can \lbe adjusted and sa\lved b\f using the \l menu of the 
    Adjustment menu.
    \bn the analog input\l, perform the “Range Adjustment”\l before making the colo\lr adjustments. During color 
    adjustments, the color mode ca\lnnot be changed. Select the mode in\l advance b\f using
