Avoid standing infront ofthe projector sothe bright lightdoes notshine intoyour eyes. • Do not place theprojector onanunstable cart,stand, ortable. • Do not operate theprojector onitsside, orwhile tiltedtoone side. Donot tiltthe projector morethan 10 °forward orback. • Ifthe projector ismounted onaceiling orwall, itshould beinstalled byqualified technicians using mounting hardware designedforuse with thisprojector. • When installing oradjusting aceiling orwall mount, donot use adhesives toprevent thescrews from loosening anddonot use oilsorlubricants. Thismay cause theprojector casetocrack andthe projector tofall from itsceiling mount. Thiscould cause serious injurytoanyone underthemount and could damage theprojector. • Do not use theprojector nearwater, sources ofheat, high-voltage electricalwires,orsources of magnetic fields. • Use thetype ofpower source indicated onthe projector. Keepthepower cordaway fromhotelectrical appliances. • Ifthe lamp breaks, ventilate theroom toprevent gasescontained inthe lamp frombeing inhaled or coming incontact withyour eyes ormouth. 3D Safety Instructions Follow these3Dsafety instructions whensetting upand using theprojector: • Ifyou orany viewer experiences thefollowing symptoms orother major discomfort fromviewing 3D video images, immediately stopviewing andcontact yourhealth careprovider: convulsions, eyeor muscle twitching, lossofawareness, alteredvision,involuntary movements, disorientation, eyestrain, nausea/vomiting, dizziness,headaches, fatigue,orblurry/double visionthatlasts longer thanfew seconds. Donot engage inany potentially hazardous activity(suchasdriving avehicle oroperating machinery) untilyour symptoms havecompletely goneaway. Ifthe symptoms persist,discontinue use and donot resume stereoscopic 3Dviewing withoutdiscussing yoursymptoms withahealth care provider/physician. • Some viewers mayexperience aseizure orblackout whenexposed toflashing imagesorlights contained incertain 3Dcontent. Anyonewhohasahistory ofseizures, lossofawareness, symptoms linked toan epileptic condition, orhas afamily history ofepilepsy, shouldcontact ahealth care provider beforeusingthe3Dfunction. Itis recommended thatallviewers takeregular breakswhile watching 3Dvideo images orplaying stereoscopic 3Dgames. Thesuggested breaksare,atleast 5to 15 minutes afterevery 30to60 minutes ofstereoscopic 3Dcontent viewing.* *Based onthe guidelines issuedbythe 3DConsortium revisedDecember 10,2008. Thelength and frequency ofnecessary breakswillvary from person toperson. The recommended viewingdistance foran80inch screen isat least 10feet (3m) and atleast 12feet (3.6 m)fora100 inch screen. Also,werecommended usingascreen sizelessthan 120inches. Viewing anycloser thantherecommended viewingdistance oron ascreen largerthanrecommended may result ineye fatigue. • Viewing 3Dcontent maycause dizziness anddisorientation forsome viewers.
