Loading a document into the ADF (AcuLaser CX16NF only)

Using the Printer Driver
Uninstalling the Printer Driver (for Windows)
This section describes how to uninstall the printer driver if necessary.
Note:
❏You must have administrator privileges in order to uninstall the printer driver.
❏If the User Account Control window appears when uninstalling on Windows Vista, click the Allow
button or the Continue button.
1. Close all applications.
2. Choose Uninstall Program.

Using the Copier
Making Basic Copies
This section contains descriptions of the basic copy operation procedure and the functions that are
frequently used when making copies, such as specifying the zoom ratio and the copy density.

❏For AcuLaser CX16NF, before making copies, check that the Copy key is lit up in green. If the key is
not lit up in green, press the Copy key to enter Copy mode.

Basic Copy Operation
1. Position the document to be copied.
Note:
For details on positioning the document, refer to “Placing a document on the original glass” on page
69 and “Loading a document into the ADF (AcuLaser CX16NF only)” on page 71.
2. For AcuLaser CX16NF, press the Copy key. 
For AcuLaser CX16, go to the step 3.
3. Specify the desired copy settings.

Specifying the Zoom Ratio
The zoom ratio can be specified either by selecting a preset zoom ratio or by specifying a custom zoom
ratio.
Selecting a Preset Zoom Ratio
1. In the main screen (Copy mode), press the u or d key to select the current zoom ratio setting, and
then press the Select key.
2. Press the u or d key to select FIXED, and then press the Select key.
3. Press the u or d key to select the desired zoom ratio, and then press the Select key.
