Connecting toaWired Network To connect theprojector toawired localareanetwork (LAN),usea100Base-TX or10Base-T network cable. Toensure properdatatransmission, useaCategory 5shielded cableorbetter. 1. Connect oneendofthe network cabletoyour network hub,switch, orrouter. 2. Connect theother endofthe cable tothe projectors LANport. Note: Makesureyoualready connected theprojector toyour wired network usingtheLAN port. 1. Turn onthe projector. 2. Press theMenu button. 45

• PJLink Password letsyou enter apassword upto32 alphanumeric characterslongforusing the PJLink protocol forprojector control. • Web Control Password letsyou enter apassword upto8alphanumeric characterslongfor accessing theprojector overtheweb. • Projector Keywordletsyou turn onasecurity password toprevent accesstothe projector by anyone notinthe room withit.You must enter adisplayed, randomized keywordfromacomputer using theEasyMP NetworkProjection softwaretoaccess theprojector. Note: Usethedisplayed keyboardtoenter thename, passwords andkeyword. Pressthearrow buttons onthe remote controltohighlight characters andpress Enter toselect them. 7. Select theWired LANmenu andpress Enter. 8. Ifnecessary, selectIPSettings andpress Enter. 9. Select yourIPSettings asnecessary: • Ifyour network assignsaddresses automatically, turnonthe DHCP setting. • Ifyou must setaddresses manually,turnoffDHCP andenter theprojectors IPAddress ,Subnet Mask ,and Gateway Addressasneeded. Note: Tohighlight thenumbers youwant fromthedisplayed keyboard, pressthearrow buttons on the remote control. Toselect ahighlighted number,pressEnter. 47

When youfinish selecting settings,selectComplete andfollow theon-screen instructions tosave your settings andexitthemenus.
