Set Symbology Menu
When the Set Symbology option is selected from the main menu, the following on-
screen menu displays.

Hide All Icons
None of the icons display permanently, exc ept for the FLIR logo and icons for the 
following special modes:
• Rearview mode enabled

User Programmable Button
The User Programmable Button only applies when you are using a JCU to

System Setup Menu
When you select System Setup from the main menu, the following on-screen 
menu displays. 
Save Camera Settings
This option commands the camera to sa ve the current settings, such as the 
thermal camera polarity, scene, and zoom settings, to the camera’s non-volatile 
memory. The settings will be used wh en the camera power is cycled.

The possible characters that can be us ed include the letters of the alphabet 
(upper or lower case), the numbers  0-9, and the hyphen (-). When you finish 
entering the name, exit. 
Then confirm the new camera name or cancel and continue making changes. 
When you are finished, select Exit.

When you select About/Help from the main menu, the following on-screen menu

Selecting Product Information displays  product information for the MD-Series 
camera you are using, such as the camera model, serial number, and software 
release information. If there are any problem s with the camera, it is useful to have 
this information available when contacting FLIR technical support. An example of

Selecting Contact FLIR displays the FL IR contact information on the screen. 
Additional contact information is includ ed at the back of this manual. When

Select Restore Factory Defaults to rest ore the MD-Series to its factory default
