theexcessgaspresenlinIheBarrel,isreleasedthroughaGasPiston

withinthePistonC~inderandworksagainsttheGasPistonthuspushing
theSlideforwardinIhesamedirectionasthebulletacceleratingdown
IheBarrel.DuetothisforwardforceactingontheSlide,theBreechwill
remainclosedduringfiring01youriitrnIU,.Ontherecoilstroke,
commencingassoonasthebulletleavestheBarrel,theGasPiston
movespasttheGasPortHole,trappingairwithintheGasCylinder.The

downtowardstheFingerRestofIheMagazine.Makesureitissecurein
theMagazine.Loadupto10cartridgesintotheMagazine.Insertthe
loadedMagazineintotheFrameumilyouhearandfeelaclickfrom
theMagazineCatch.ThismeanstheMagazineCatchhassecuredthe
loadedMagazinefirmlyintotheFrame.DroppingtheMagazinecan
causedamage10thelipswhichcancausemisfeedings.Toloadthe
Chamber(makesureyourfingersareoutofIheTriggerGuarclandoffthe
Trigger).
HoldthegripofyourB>traltllsecurelyw1thyourshootinghandand
withyourotherhandpulltheSlideallthewaybackusingtheSen-ations
oneachsidetogetagoodgrip.
GentlyletgooftheSlide.ThespringtensionwillforcetheSlideforward
untilitcloses.TheSlidehasnowtakenacartridgefromtheMagazine
andinserteditintotheChamber.

SafetyLeverisinthesafepositionandremainsthereuntilyouare
readytofire.BesuretheMuzzleispoiritedatthetargeLWhenreadyto
fire,keepyourhandsoutofthepathoftheSlideandawayfromIhe
Muzzle.Thiscancauseseriousinjury.Checktobesurethatyouhavea
propertarget.Withthe&t.eultl}:aimedatthepropertarget,movethe
SafetyLeverdowntothefirepositionexposingtheRedDot.The
8t.eulttJisnowinthefireposition.
Forthebestaccuracy:-UsebothhandstoSleadyyouraimandgently
squeezetheTrigger.-CarefullyaligntheFrontSightandRearSightuntil
theyblendinto3parallelverticallinesalthecenterofyourtarget.
PlaceyourindexfingerontheTriggerandgentlysqueeze(avoidjerking)
untilthe§t.eultl,fires.WitheachTriggerpull,the8t.eultllwill
aulomaticallyfeedanolherroundintotheChamber.IIwillcontinuetodo
80witheachTriggerpulluntiltheMagazineisemptyandthelastround
hasbeendischarged.Oncethelastroundhasbeenfired,theSlidewill
remainopen. 
						

							
YoumayremovetheemptyMagazineandinsertanotherloaded
Magazine.ToleedanotherroundintotheChamber,simplypulltheSlide
backandreleaseasmentionedabove.

UNLOADING

WiththeBarrelpointedinasaledirection,movetheSatetyLevertothe

fireposition.ReadallWarningsandSaletiesabovebeloreconlinuing.
RemovetheMagazineIromtheFramebydepressingtheMagazine
DisconnectbUllon.TheMagazinewilldropslightly.Removethe
MagazinelromtheFrame.
RetracttheSlidesothattheExtractorpullsthecartridgeoutofthe
Chamber.VisuallyinspecttheChamber10ensurethatacartridgehas
notbeenleftintheChamber.Besureyour§ttnltl,iscompletely
unloaded.

andkeeptheMuzzlepointedinasaledirection.PushtheMagazine
DisconnectandremovetheloadedMagazine.WiththeMagazineoutof
the,§ttllltlpulltheSlideallthewayback.WiththeSlidepulledallthe
waybackvisuallycheckanddoublecheckyour&ttnltlloraround
whichmighthaveremainedintheChamber.Visuallyguaranteethat
thereisnoblockageorammunitionleftintheChamber.
IfyoufindaremainingroundintheChamber,allowtheSlidetoclose.
ContinuetokeeptheMuzziepointedinasatedirection.Removeall
cartridgeslromtheMagazineandre-inserttheemptyMagazine.Pulithe
Slideallthewaybackactivatingyour,§ttnltlrsSlideHoldOpen

Magazine.KeeptheMuzzlepointedinasafedirection.Ae-loadthe
Magazineandre-insertit.puntheopanSlidefurtherback.releaseit
gentlyandallowittoclose.ThiswillautomaticaHyfeedanotherroundinto
theChamber.KeeptheMuzzlepointedinasafedirection,movethe
SafetyLevertothefireposition,exposingtheRedOof,andproceed
withyourfiringsession.Ifyoudonotfindaremainingroundinthe
Chamber,allowtheSlidetoclose.Re-inserttheMagazine,movethe
SafetyLevertothe~irepos~ion,exposingtheRedOof,andproceed
withyouriringsession.

STOPSHOOTING.MovetheSaetyLevertothesafeposinon,keep
Yol.lrMuzzlepointedatIhetargetfor30seconds.removetheMagazine,
pulltheSlideallthewayback,visuallycheckanddoubiecheckyour
§teuUI,foraroundwhichmighthaveremainedintheChamber.
!tispossibleyoumayhaveaprojectilestuckintheBarrel.Neverlook
downtheBarrel

afirearm.Keepyourfaceawayfromtheaction.In
ordertocheckforastuckprojectile,removetheSlide(see
DISASSEMBLEinstructionsbelow),lookthroughtheBarrel(fromthe
BreachEnd)andremoveanyobstructionandcleartheBarreJ.Ifthiscan
notbeaccomplished,DONOTATTEMPTTOSHOOTOUTTHE
OBSTRUCTION.Takeyourdisassembled§t.enUtrtoacertified
gunsmrth.DONOTREASSEMBLEyour:!&t.euItJ,atthistime.
OnceyouhaveclearedtheBarrelordeterminedthattherewasno
obstruction.reassembletheSlide,movetheSafetyLevertothefire
position,exposingtheRedDot,andproceedwithyourfiringsession.
