    Followtheseinstructionstoupdatetheswitchsoftware(thatis,afirmwarecodeimage):
    1.IntheUpdateMethodfield,selecttheprotocoltousetouploadthefiletothesystem.Ifthe
    fileislocatedonalocalornetworkdrive,selectHTTP.IfthefileislocatedonaTFTPserver,
    selectTFTP.
    2.IfTFTPisselected,specifytheIPaddressoftheTFTPserver,thepathtothefile,andthename
    ofthefileasitappearsontheserver.
    IfHTTPisselected,browsetolocatethefileonyournetworkorlocaldrive.
    3.IntheUpdateTypefield,selectCode.
    4.IntheImagefield,chooseBackuporActive.
    IfyouchooseBackup,theinactive(backup)imagefilewillbeupdated.Intheexamplein
    Figure10-2onpage10-4,theBackupimagefileisselectedforupdate.
    IfyouchooseActive,theactiveimagefilewillbeupdated.
