Front  panel  
 
 Power Button  lets you turn the phone  on or off, turn the screen on or off, restart the 
phone, or switch your phone  to airplane mode. 
  Earpiece  lets you hear the caller and automated prompts.  
  Proximity sensor  automatically switches the display screen off when you hold the

Turn Your Phone Off  
1. Press and hold   to open the  Power options menu.  
Note :  When the screen is locked and you press  , it will only turn off the screen and 
not the  phone. You will need to unlock the screen first before you press and hold 
  to turn the  phone off. See  Turn Your Screen On and Off  for details.

Aside from protecting the  phone’s screen from unwanted  touches and presses , the lock screen
