    							11 Picture mode setup
    Press P button repeatedly, then picture will change as follows: USER =>DYNAMIC => STAN-
    DARD => MILD.
    Sound mode setup
    Press S button repeatedly, the sound mode will be changed as follows: USER => MUSIC =>
    SPEECH => MOVIE.
    MENU
    Press this button to enter/quit menu.
    SLEEP
    Press SLEEP button, to choose auto turn-off time from 5 to 120 minutes or choose 
    						
    							12 OSD operationsNote: In this manual the OSD (On Screen Display) may be different from your TV’s because it is
    just an example to help you with the TV operation.
    In the following contents, press MENU button to enter the menu; press P+/P- buttons to select an
    item. The highlight background means the current selection, press V+/V- buttons to set the selected
    item or enter into sub-menu (or use cursor buttons), after setting is done, press OK button or MENU
    button to go back to the previous menu. Press MENU button to quit the setting menu.
    Picture
    xBrightness. To adjust picture brightness.
    xContrast. To adjust picture contrast.
    xColour. To adjust colour.
    xSharpness. To adjust picture sharpness.
    xPicture preset: USER => DYNAMIC => STAN-
    DARD => MILD
    xPicture enhance
    oSkin tone: Choose on or off
    oBlue stretch: Choose on or off
    oBlack stretch: Choose on or off
    Note: JK ADJUST can be adjusted only in PC mode
    Sound
    xVOLUME. Change the value of volume with the
    key V+/V- the rang of 0 to 1 00.
    xAVL. Set the function of AVL on or off. AVL to
    on will limit the abruptly sound increasing usually
    caused by advertising time.
    xBALANCE: Change the value of balance from-50
    to 50, usually 0 is default.
    xLOUDNESS: Set the function of Loudness on or
    off. Setting Loudness on can make bass a little bit
    enhanced when the volume is small.
    xSURROUND: Turn on surround effect.
    xSOUND PRESET: Set the sound mode to USER => MUSIC => SPEECH => MOVIE =>.
    xGRAPHIC EQUALIZER: enter equalizer submenu. 
    						
    							13 Feature
    xLANGUAGE
    Select the language of the OSD as follows: ENGLISH - RUSSIAN.
    xBLUE BACK
    Set the function of blue background on or off.
    xTIMER
    oCLOCK. Setup current time. Press V- buttons to ad-
    just hours. Press [V+] to adjust minutes.
    oOFF TIME. Setup auto off time. While V- buttons
    to adjust hours. Press V+ to adjust minutes.
    oON TIME. Setup auto on time. While showing - -:--
    auto on function does not work. Press V- buttons to
    adjust hours. Press V+ to adjust minutes. showing -
    -:--, auto off function does not work. Press
    oON PROGRAM. Setup auto on program. When
    turn on TV, it comes to the setup program. The se-
    lecting range is 0~199.
    xLOCK
    Enter the password accurately.
    The original password is 0000.
    oCHILD LOCK. In order to avoid children to watch
    the Program which is not suitable, a children lock
    co uld
      be set. If it is ON and the program is chosen. The
    locked information will be noted on the screen.
    oPROGRAM. The program number which you want
    to be locked, you can change the program number
    by direct press digit button or V+/V-.
    oLOCK. When chosen the program number then LOCK in MENU is on, t he setup of LOCK is
    funct io nal, o t herwise, t he fo llo wing set up is funct io nless.
    oVOLUME LIMIT. When it is OFF, VOLUME MAX is functionless; when it is ON, it controls
      the sound volume together with VOLUME MAX.
    oVOLUME MAX. Setup the upper limit of the volume adjustment. While VOLUME LIMIT is
    ON, the VOLUME LIMIT will be the max of sound. While VOLUME LIMIT is OFF, the
    so und adjust ment  is no t  limit ed. 
    						
    							14 oCHANGE PASSWORD. Press digit number to enter new Password in NEW PASSWORD
    item, and enter again in CONFIRM item. The same entering for twice will change the pass-
    word, different entering will back to the NEW PASSWORD item.
    xCalendar
    Choose year number, the range of the years is from 1900
    to 2155;
    Choose month number; the range of the month is from 1
    to 12.
    Tuning
    xPROGRAM. Switch present program number.
    xSKIP. When it is OFF, skip is not available; if it is
    ON, the present program could be skipped, but it
    could be achieved through digit buttons
    xCOLOUR SYSTEM. Select the colour system from
    AUTO => PAL   => NTSC => SECAM => NTSC-
    443 =>.
    xSOUND SYSTEM: Select sound system from DK
    => I => BG.
    xAUTO SEARCH. Start auto search of the channels. The AFT will be open.
    xSEARCH. Start manual search. The AFT will be open.
    xFINE TUNE. Start fine tune.
    xAFT. Select the function of Auto frequency control.
    Note: Submenu TUNING only appears under TV mode.
    xEXCHANGE
    oPROGRAM: The present PROGRAM number.
    oEXCHANGE TO: The exchange program.
    oEXCHANGE: Press V+/V- buttons in EXCHANGE
    to confirm exchange, or quit by pressing MENU but-
    ton. 
    						
    							15 Menu operation in VGA/YpbPr mode
    1. Display NO SYNC PLEASE CHECK CABLE in the middle screen without signal input.
    The green light glitters after 30 seconds.
    Menu and number buttons are unavailable. Switch to other source by TV/AV button. System goes
    to
    standby after 30 seconds of no signal waiting.
    2. Display UNSUPPORT MODE PLEASE ADJUST RESOLUTION in the middle of the screen
    overstep display range.
    3. Only PICTURE SOUND and FEATURE menu can work when there is signal input. The
    SOUND and FEATURE menu are the same as before, but only BRIGHTNESS, CONTRAST
    and PC ADJUST can be adjust in the picture menu. The right picture is the sketch map of the PC
    ADJUST submenu. The definition of each option:
    xH POS: Adjust the Horizon position.
    xV POS: Adjust the Vertical position.
    xH SIZE: Adjust the Horizon size.
    xPHASE: Adjust the Sampling phase.
    xCOLOUR TEMP: Setting for color temperature
    as below: NORMAL => 6500 => 9300 =>
    NORM
    xAUTO ADJUST: Adjust  aut o mat ically.
    xRESET: Resets H POS, V POS, H SIZE,
    PHASE. 
    						
    							16 TroubleshootingBefore calling a technician, please check the following items to see whether you can easily diagnose
    and fix the encountered symptoms on your own.

    							17 The causes of interferenceIncorporated in your TV receiver are the most up-to-date devices to eliminate interference. Local
    radiation however, can create disturbances, which visibly affect your picture. Proper installations, a
    good aerial are your best safeguards against these disturbances.
    xRF INTERFERENCE
    Moving ripples across the screen are caused by nearby transmitting or receiving short-wave ra-
    dio equipment.
    xDIATHERMY
    Herringbone pattern and partial picture loss can result fro m the operation of diathermy equip-
    ment from a nearby doctors surgery or hospital.
    xSNOW
    Weak TV signals from long distant stations result in an instead picture and give the effect of
    falling snow. An antenna adjustment or antenna amplifier may be needed.
    xGHOST
    Multiple image, caused by TV signals reflected back from surrounding buildings, hills, aircraft,
    etc. is minimized by correct aerial positioning.
    xCAR IGNITION
    Nearby cars and electrical motors can cause small streaks across the picture or make the picture
    ro ll.
