STATION CABLES

ning, run 2-pair twisted cable from the MDF to each keyset loca- 
tion. 
Label both ends of every cable with the keyset intercom 
number (10-21). Follow these guidelines when running cable: 
l Avoid cable runs parallel to fluorescent light fixtures or

5.01 The installation procedure used to terminate C.O. lines at 
the MDF is dependent on the type of jack used by the telephone 
company and how close their jacks are to the MDF. 
The C.O. lines 
may be terminated on RJ14 (C or W) jacks or on an RJ21X block. 
Follow one of the three methods (A, B, or C) below.
